An NPC concept I came up with for @sm-baby's 'Valley of Gold' game concept :) I have a lot of thoughts about her but I'll put them under a cut so this post isn't too long :)

While coming up with her concept I had just a whole bunch of ideas to add a little flavour to her and I'm just going to list them down here.

Because of her blindness she mostly navigates through sound and smell, she recognises people based on their scents, especially her regulars who she can smell coming based on the flowers they most often purchase from her

Her clothes are made up of various different fabrics with different textures to help her tell them apart

She picks flowers to sell based on their scent and texture as well

She's easily flustered by anyone and can be rather shy

She likes the sound that her various little dangling accessories make when she moves

When she gets surprised her ears perk right up

As a bunny she has many siblings, but she's the youngest of her family and is often babied by them

Her fur is incredibly soft and plush :)

hey so you know even if the trans girl doesn't pass you still have to use her pronouns right?

even if she doesn't "try to pass" she still deserves the same basic respect you give everybody else.

even if she's done something bad that doesn't excuse you misgendering her on purpose.

i'm so sick of people treating trans people's pronouns as some kind of reward you get if you've been a good tranny.

A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.

A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.

I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.

hi okay we've seen some posts about this floating around and i wanna clear up what this means before any misinfo spreads too far.

if you are in a country like the UK or australia with recent age verification laws, this changes nothing. if you are NOT in any of those countries, this will work the same way their age verification does.

on discord, this DOES NOT outright block access to the app. it will prevent you from accessing channels marked as age-restricted, and it will prevent you from viewing images that the automatic image detection software deems as "adult content". which is annoying, but that software doesn't pick up on too much. also, it doesn't stop you from sharing images with third party hosting services lol

again, you DO NOT NEED TO VERIFY TO CONTINUE USING DISCORD. DMs will work fine. most servers will work fine.

do not verify. you do not need to. don't let this become normalized. just continue using the app. find ways of noncompliance. show them how worthless this is.

I'm an Aussie and I can say I haven't used the verification on Discord even though it's been a thing here for the past couple of months. And I have literally noticed no changes, to the point that I didn't even realise it was an option.

DON'T verify your age on Discord, it's not worth it.
