I just went from having 0 feelings either negative or positive about Taylor Lautner and after watching this and with no other knowledge of him as a person I fully believe that he is a gift to humanity if for nothing other than this single contribution.

It’s finally done!!
Funny thing is that I doodled this comic out on valentine’s day and just never did anything about it. But then recently I got a bunch of followers who liked my cheerleader+nerd girl ideas so I thought I’ll finish this comic out for you guys!
Also they have names now!
Valerie (cheerleader) and Emma (nerd). I want to think of an official series title for them but nothing is coming up at the moment but I will eventually!
The worst part of Pride each year is riding the subway late at night and seeing the gay guys, mostly the ones riding by themselves, slowly take off their rainbow stickers and beads and what-not in preparation for their walk alone in their neighborhood, doing their best to prevent the off-chance of being jumped. I saw one guy with a flag in his bag turn it upside down so it wouldn’t poke out.
So yeah, fuck that heterosexual pride day nonsense.
This is the saddest god damn thing I’ve read in awhile, mostly because I literally remember peeling my stickers off on my way home too for this reason
Two years ago in Budapest the organizers didn’t let anyone leave the place until we dropped all the rainbow flags into the trash cans and popped out the balloons, because people were waiting outside the cordons to get and beat us. Sadly the situation was so bad that even without the flags, we couldn’t leave for a good two hours after the event anyway. There were hundreds of people just waiting to be able to get home safely, but we simply couldn’t walk out of the place because of those assholes. In the end, the police made us leave in smaller groups via subway. They closed down the stations closest to ours, so we could avoid running into the people waiting us outside. This was in Budapest, in Europe, 2014. I hate this world we live in.
And this is why #heterosexualpride makes me so angry.
I know this kid who was leaving Pride, trying so badly to rub off the rainbow paint on his cheek because his dad was abusive and didn’t know he was gay or at pride. I was on the bus with him and he was close to tears, he cheek red, and I had my make up bag and there was a packet of wet wipes, so I went up and sat next to him and helped him rub it off. We’ve been best friends ever since.
Heterosexual pride my ass
I’M LIVING SIS
Caleb Behn, who is from West Moberly First Nation, one of the nations taking the federal government to court, says Trudeau has broken his promise.
Justin Trudeau’s government has quietly issued its first batch of permits for the Site C dam — allowing construction to move forward on the $8.8 billion BC Hydro project despite ongoing legal challenges by two First Nations.
The federal-provincial review panel’s report on Site C found the 1,100 megawatt dam will result in significant and irreversible adverse impacts on Treaty 8 First Nations.
Caleb Behn, who is from West Moberly First Nation, one of the nations taking the federal government to court, says Trudeau has broken his promise.
“It’s 19th century technology being permitted with 19th century thinking and I expected more from the Trudeau government,” he said. “These permits were our last best hope to resolve this.”
“These permits suggest very strongly that, at least these ministries, if not Trudeau’s entire cabinet, are unwilling to engage in reconciliation with indigenous peoples. I thought this country could be more.”
Charlie Angus, MP for Timmins-James Bay and NDP critic for Indigenous and Northern Affairs, echoed those sentiments.
“I think this was a real test of the Trudeau government and they failed the test,” Angus said.
“The Liberals seem to be thinking that if they say the right things, it’s somehow the same as doing the right things.”
Trudeau has emphasized building a new relationship with indigenous peoples since taking office in October. He included the following paragraph in every ministerial mandate letter:
“No relationship is more important to me and to Canada than the one with Indigenous Peoples. It is time for a renewed, nation-to-nation relationship with Indigenous Peoples, based on recognition of rights, respect, co-operation, and partnership.”
But with the issuing of the Site C permits, doubts have been cast on that promise.
“We hear from all the key ministers about the nation-to-nation relationship and then they rubber stamp and go ahead with all the big projects,” Angus said.
For Behn, who was the subject of a documentary called Fractured Land last year, the sense of disappointment was palpable.
“What do they care about a backwater in northern B.C. that only has 40,000 voters?” he asked. “If you spent $9 billion on solar panels, geothermal … you wouldn’t have to run roughshod over indigenous rights.”

“ “If you spent $9 billion on solar panels, geothermal … you wouldn’t have to run roughshod over indigenous rights.” “
I knew there was a reason my gut said not to trust this white weasel when he said he cared about indigenous people…
I actually live in the city where the Site C project is being built. What makes this even more tricky for the First Nations is the fact that a lot of them HAVE to work on the dam site because it’s the only place you can get a job right now. The city is an oil town, and oil prices are extremely low right now. Layoffs, reductions, lots of dumb young white boys having to sell their expensive trucks and toys because they didn’t properly save money. So then I see the locals getting mad at the FNs, being all “ OOOOOHHHHH, SO YOU OPPOSE THE DAM BUT YOU STILL WANT THE MONEY IT BRINGS??????HA HA WOW. ”. These people literally don’t have a choice? This town is full of racist fucks who straight up say they won’t hire First Nations because “All they do is get drunk”? But all these gross white crew guys who smell like raw gas and BO who get drunk and run down kids in the street are just “messing around”? They get mad at them for being “greedy” and wanting to protect their land, and tell them to “get over it”, but people throw a fit when the city digs up 2 feet of their front yard to put in a sidewalk or new fiber cables? The Highway of Tears is only hours away? They’ve literally been walked all over during the process of the environmental assessments for the dam? LET THEIR VOICES BE HEARD!
Also as an aside, the employees at Site C will have access to a full service restaurant and bar. Except the First Nations employees, they aren’t allowed to use it due to “security concerns”.
seriously tho the more i draw about these two assholes the more i realize they were frickin made for each other
