I'll take it a step further from my last post, I love being a teenage girl and I love other teenage girls with my whole heart. I love when they fangirl over their favorite singer, show, ship, or band. I love when they get together and gossip or do makeovers on each other. I love when they're not feminine and prefer to get dirty and dress masculine. I love when they're exploring teen romances and navigating relationships that require them to think responsibly and maturely.

I love when they're loud and in your face, and I love when they're quiet too. I love when they express themselves the way they want to because no girl is like the other one next to them. I love that when they care so deeply about a piece of media they write fanfiction for it. I love when they fight and argue back, I love when they feel safe enough to cry and be vulnerable. I love when they sneak out and make new memories. I love when they're into childish things. I love when girls are gross and weird. And I love when they're basic and like every other girl.

I love when they get together online and form communities and help each other out because we're all girls at the end of the day and we all want to see the other succeed. I would choose being a girl in every lifetime despite the challenges, because the girlhood is something that feels so sacred and it's been woven into our history for years.

I'm so glad that the teen stage starts at 13 and ends at 19. That's like the perfect span of time for a teenager. It's such a movie protagonist age. Like it's interesting seeing an old woman fight for her life, but there's something about a teenage girl going through life threatening situations because she's literally me right now. Does anyone get me??

Apparently there's gonna be a character (or several) that sacrifices themself in Doomsday and I need people to remember the comic this is based on. If you don't know, literally everybody dies. All your favs are GONE. Almost everyone's GONE. The series ends with the multiverse ENDING and creating a post secret-wars universe. If this is gonna be super comic accurate, almost everyone might be dying. Just a thought. Enjoy the countdown!
