I think I will post my trips I do as a truck driver here as a log for anyone's interest. This was my christmas trip. On the way back I took a different route to avoid the Winter Storm and Cool down that hit the Northern US.

Something that is helping me come back to Tumblr.

It's nostalgia. It feels like the whole purge of the population from NSFW content means that the people who stuck around focused and stuck to their themes. A lot of which is nostalgia, for me personally it's been computer technology and advertising. This has made my personal return to tumblr easier. I am sure my dick like certain things but what keeps me here is the unique themes that tickle my brain.

Life update.

Last month I failed my DOT Physical thanks to my A1C results(10.8), meaning I lost my ability to work as a truck driver. It was my fault because I was prescribed metformin and stopped taking it due to side effects instead of talking to my doctor.

I started taking it again, with guidance. Did doordash to get out of the house and earn some income, got my A1C down to 8.5 and just passed my physical today. I go back to work next week!

While I was working DoorDash I found this 2nd gen iPod Nano 4gb in the outside window sill of a Burger King. Despite sitting in 100F temps for who knows how long it still holds a charge. Lots of Barry Manilow, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Sinatra etc

So I have been playing the selaco demo on steam hence the caps lock correction.

Any way I had a DOT Physical and I screwed up by ignored my doctor and not taking metformin like I was supposed, I tried but it gave me major diarrhea  because I didn’t read the side effects like I should. Well that plus not hydrating caused my blood sugar to skyrocket and so I am currently disqualified.

I have started taking meformin with fruit and crackers to negate the side effects and drinking a fuck ton of water. I hope to be back at work in a couple weeks.
