It was about a year right now since my life started to change. My life was filled with bitterness, no self confidence, the feeling of being alone even tough I had many people around me. I cried a lot. You know what happened about a year ago as well? You started to get closer to me. You began becoming my friend, my best friend. We were and are different. We felt it from the start. We felt it in the hugs that were a little too long for just friends, we felt it in the desire to kiss those lips, we felt it in the need to be with each other forever. We felt it. The magic between you and me. We kissed on that day you know I'm talking about. It was a cold day in February, we drank maybe one or to beers to much and talked about the future. It all led to everything that followed. Our cute little Spring romance with all those overwhelming feelings, the excitement, the strong bond. The silly laughing, serious talking, cuddling outside, drinking Guiness every Friday because why not. The first "I love you". The first sober kisses. The realisation of what we really mean to each other. Summer holiday. Me sitting in the train on my way back home from bringing you to the station with tears rushing down my face because I was so scared and hurt and missed you already. The feeling when we finally saw again. The fights we had and survived. All those stupid things we do together. All we are. All of it makes me lay in my bed right now and cry from happiness. And thanking someone above because I still can't imagine how lucky I could get. You're everything I could've ever asked for. It was about a year ago when you came close into my life. It was about a year ago when you saved me. It was about a year ago when I found something that felt like home. It was about a year ago when I realised that I love you. And I always will do. ❤️
