“are you okay?” well, no. i’ve been anxious since sunday, im in the biggest fight right now, i got called the worst sister three times today, my sisters been mean like. all day, i fear im slowly slipping back into my depressive state and the only thing keeping me from fully going into it is my girlfriend, my parents don’t give a shit about me, i’m trying my best but it’s never enough, and i’m just so tired.

ever since my sister started dating her boyfriend(two years ago), she’s always been like ‘being in an actual healthy relationship really brings out the feminine side of you and makes you a better person’ and like. now i get it. i mean, my girlfriend really has made me a better person, in my opinion, and not just when we started dating. i mean, before june, i didn’t really care too much about myself. i’d let my room get dirty and wait like five months to clean it, i wouldn’t shower for like a week, i wouldn’t do laundry, i refused to actually, i wouldn’t do what my parents would ask,,but june 7th changed my life, in the best way possible.

after we stayed up talking all night, i started taking care of myself. now i clean my room every morning, i take a shower every night, i do my laundry every sunday, and i listen to my parents like they’re my best friends or whatever. i also used to really hate makeup and dressing up(i only did this once and it was for prom), but like my sister said, a healthy relationship brings out the feminine side in you, and now i let my sister occasionally do my makeup or practice her makeup on me and i do occasionally dress up for events, even it theyre small events.

idk where this rant came from, but my sister brought it up again last night and i thought. yk. let’s go tell everyone on tumblr about how much this relationship has changed me and i need it to last forever(it’s going to).

it’s exactly the same for me. my friends can tell all of y’all,,,i wore the same three outfits every single day. my hair was always unbrushed. i never did skincare, makeup, nothing. my room would get terrible,,,my friends would have to come over to help me clean it. that all changed when i met her. and well. im VERY feminine now. i wear dresses, skirts, crop tops, etc every day. i do my makeup and hair and skincare every day. i clean my room every weekend. it’s just. i love her so much ☹️
