You let the troll speak without interruption and figures that he isn’t the one that you encountered however long ago that was. You walked around the fourth sector when you first got here, had a glimpse of various things. It seemed interesting enough but you weren’t that interested into making it an all day excursion at the time. Now that you think about, it might be a good idea to do so to see if you can pick up work. If not that, then just a way to pass the time since you don’t see much of what you can do here at the moment.
The mention of beasts, you perk up, head cocked to the side slightly. You do remember hearing them, howls in the distance, but you played them off as just stray dogs making a ruckus. You’re not one to go out late at night, but that doesn’t mean it won’t have to happen every once in a while.

That’s a relief knowing that Roxy will be in a much safer place than a radioactive hole. 2. Sleepy Hug
You don’t know how you get roped along in Terezi’s stuff today, but that’s how it is. She just popped by your assigned apartment early this morning and dragged you out while you were still trying to finish off bacon you managed not to burn. You didn’t really get a say in whether you wanted to go along or not, but you doubt she would have listened to you anyway.
She claimed to be taking you on a tour of the city so you wouldn’t end up doing something stupid or bother the wrong sort of people. Really, you felt it was less tour-y and more you being dragged around by a blind troll and getting hit with her cane whenever you seemed to not be paying attention. There was a lot of back and forth banter, but you guess that’s the nature of you two no matter which timeline you’re both from.
You end it when it’s super dark and nearing 2 in the morning (or at least it feels like it) and you feel like you’re about to fall asleep on your feet. You don’t know how honored you should have been about the fact that she even bothered to walk you back to your place, but you decide not to complain since this place is weird as hell at night.
When you wake up in the morning and actually remember what happened, you’re deciding to blame your half asleep state for the reason why you hugged her after she deposited you off at your doorstep and told her to ‘have a goodnight and a safe trip back’ before closing the door in her face.

John isn’t one to play video games, at least not the ones that require a console and a remote. He’ll probably be okay with handheld ones if he ever owned one, but he’s more of a PC games type of guy. He knows his way around online mmorpgs pretty decently too even though he’s only played the Ghost Busters one.

Pretty much lacking accent in the way he talks which could be blamed on the fact that he wasn’t around many people when learning to talk. His tone is usually casual and speaks clearly and at a pace even enough so his words are understandable the first time around. The only thing that really sticks out is the fact that he’ll take short pauses between compound words so it ends up sounding like he’s saying two separate words instead of just a full one.
✄ - nervous habits
Lip/inside of cheek biting is one that he does most often when alone. When in the company of others, John is a nervous talker, he will ramble and shift his gaze and try to laugh the nervousness away to ease the tension he’s feeling.

Seeing as though John would have had to watch this movie before turning 13 he probably took one look at the cover and decided it was a shitty romance and pushed it off to the side. That and it’s R rated and I like to think Dad had parental lock on his computer and monitored what movies John watched for the most part.
