Everything that the current administration is doing is an extension of American imperialism and conservative American values. Iran is not being bombed to "distract from the Epstein files", trans legislation is not being passed to "distract from Palestine", none of this is happening just to "distract" you. And dismissing certain issues as "distractions" is a horrific excuse of them.

It is, however, happening all at once to overwhelm you. And there is a HUGE difference.

Carnival tickets are only good for the carnival, and it’s only in town for a limited amount of time.
