So...

1. The blooms apparently are actually a drug. That wrecks the sentient bodies and society. That's... Not what impression it gave during old peace. Unless it's a different species/variant?

2. Also there is weird rain that induces nightmares/pain/delirium or fuck knows what.

3. At least on one planet in Tau sentients are a mafia-ruled city to put our new noir detective in. Of course it rains all the fucking time. And as we established, the rain is terrible

4. And the big fucking crime boss is... Adis??? Resurrected and brainwashed by wally??? In something like a necramech???

5. We did it, a card game in Warframe, because we didn't get THAT minigame flavour yet.

So at first I thought that something had gone wrong with the blooms which is why they're being treated like a drug now. But on reflection I think what's going on is just that the blooms are now in such short supply that most sentients are reguraly on the verge of reverting to the hive mind. I recall a background character warn about getting "hive-drowned." The rain seems to fast track that reversion. I think what's happening is that Hunra, being one of the only sentients to possess healing powers(although who knows if that's still the case), has sort of monopolized the blooms and built a hierarchy around access to them.

Sometimes I see ZZZ release an updated design for a highly anticipated character and I have to close my eyes, look away from the screen, and remind myself that there are creative and talented character designers working at Hoyoverse who are just as upset as me bc they've had to whittle away at their initial drafts until nothing is left but high heels and big boobs

I've seen a lot of those same things and I really think it demonstrates the difference between a design being horny because the artist was horny or a design being horny because of a committee insisting it must be. It's hard to put your finger on but you can feel when a design was made with sincere attraction to it.
