as a child there's nothing cooler than a kid who gets subjected to evil experiments and gains special abilities. it's even cooler if these abilities also cause unfathomable suffering to use/against others. children love stories like this.
smth i can't stand is how leftists act like you have to drop the media ur consuming because the person who made it is le problematique TM. idc abt the artists, if i like the song im gonna listen to it as much as i want and u can just keep chucking tantrums about it lmao. these people might as well just listen to rocks banging together because every single artist and musician in the world is problematic one way or another
Never in my life have I ever thought to not watch or read something I enjoy because the person or people who made it might be problematic. I genuinely don't understand people who act like it's some kind of moral imperative to double check the morals of the person or people who create things you enjoy and then reject those things wholesale if they don't pass some retarded purity test made up by some idiots online, the mindset and worldview of people like that is literally so alien to me that I would have an easier time trying to teach myself quantum physics than I would trying to comprehend what goes on inside the minds of those sorts of people.
The "Yourfaveisproblematic" horseshit gave a lot of people brain rot, but in my case, it just caused me to rebel against it so anytime someone says something is problematic, I immediately do whatever I can (without too much personal inconvenience,) to check it out immediately.
There's some media by "problematic" people that I won't consume, but that's because I don't like the media, or because I don't like the particular person in question for an entirely different reason (I don't like the kind of music P.Diddy produces, I don't like Amber Heard's acting, that type of thing).
Understandable, I'm the same way myself, if I happen to not enjoy something made by someone that's problematic, it's not the creator's views that keep me from enjoying it, it's the quality of the work itself.
hey you. teenage girl writing in her diary. quit talking about the boy you have a crush on and start writing about the current political situation, the valuation of currencies, and the level of technology your people hold. your diary might be the only piece of evidence our society existed after nuclear war fries all of our data backups. future historians don't need to know about damian, they need at least a secondhand accounts of the great water wars and whether or not your leaders truly did worship a deity called "the free hand of the market"
Keep writing about your crush Teenaged Girl. About your clothes, and how that other girl wore the same dress as you. Paint me a picture of what you were like.
Imagine putting this kind of pressure on a teenage girl, who just wants to write about and chronicle what's important in HER life into HER diary, which she expects no one but herself to ever look at. The era we live in is THE BEST DOCUMENTED ERA in HISTORY! Her diary will NOT be the only remaining document left after a potential nuclear war, and even if it was her innocent ramblings would likely provide better and more intimate information about adolescent life in our era than if she was forced to write about current socio-economic and political topics she likely doesn't know much or even care about.
Future historians will have plenty of sources to tell them about our technology, our currency, and whatever important world changing events happen, from people who have a much better understanding of it all than a random teenager writing in her diary. What historians always want more of, now and forever, is information about the ordinary lives of normal, uninfluential people. And a teen girl writing about her crush? She would likely leave behind SO MUCH critical information about normal everyday life in our era that official documents detailing world-changing historical events would never even touch on.
So let her write about Damian. It's her diary. Who are you to tell her what she should write about anyway?
PSA to fan creators who don't have a lot of regular contact with children: They are almost always bigger than you think. A 1-year-old baby may already be walking. A toddler is likely already hip-high. A 10-year-old may already be taller than at least one of their parents. A 14/15 year old may already have reached their adult height.
We gotta make nu-Anime fans afraid again, I'm tired of these niggas. Saying that Clannad's art makes her feel like a pedophile like that isn't a MASSIVE self-report.
When the DDR collapsed, Nutella was in high demand in Eastern Germany. Alongside with other western brand products that were not or only through difficulty available before.
"Vanderhorst had been under the influence of MDMA and three litres of vodka she had consumed on the night of the offence last September, her lawyer Michael Hill told the court."
