At the tail end of the shittiest six months of my life, my dog is back from the hospital without any life altering complications. So at least I have that. Once everything from the house fire, totaled car, and lost health insurance clears up I'll be back on track 👍
Oh man, I'm finally starting to surface after this deeper depression dive. It feels so good to see the shore, I can almost breath again.
The Handmaid’s tale is not only spectacularly shot, superbly acted and written, in the current political climate it is going to be the most relevant tv series for a very long while. It’s amazing just on how many different levels it actually touches so many topics at once (fanaticism, bigotry, misogyny, racism, women’s reproductive rights, homophobia, sexual abuse, militarization of society, rise of tyrants and dictator wannabes etc). Which makes it that more terrifying, because it doesn’t feel like a work of fiction at all. Essential in every regard. Whatever you heard about it, no words can really describe just how amazing and important it really is. I was truly blown away. The perfect anti-dote to the Trump like mentality worldwide (not just USA). Timing couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Last Year Today: A way to keep all the old top news stories fresh since it's been such a crazy time for America and the world in general. A brief recap of the story, what details/theories have been confirmed, did any organization or political party promise action? What happened afterwards.
SJW Starter Kit: TedEd style channel that breaks down common social justice movement actions into easy to understand chunks. For example, a brief rundown of sex vs. gender series that has an overview/recap episode paired with in depth definitions and common misconceptions or misused phrases/terms. Also has the potential to grow into "guidebook" type series that systemically tackle common arguments against climate change/feminist movement/Black Lives Matter/ etc. and provide facts and points out fallacies in common arguments about the topic.
FanBae FanBase: who are the most shipped characters in a given fanbase and what is their appeal? If you liked this protagonist, can I interest you in this other, equally awesome fandom that includes this similarly different protagonist? The ship wars in the comments will be glorious!
Kinetypography: just a channel of me, re-enacting some favorite book quotes to kinetic typography. Open to suggestions, could have a decent comment section.
Tara Tries To: if I was even slightly photo/videogenic and could commit to anything this would be a cool experimental channel where I just do whatever is most popular in the suggestions. Preferrably condensed to more of a react-type channel. Maybe limit it to something I'm laughably pathetic at, like video games. Or where I look super ridiculous, like doing any solitary activity that I actually enjoy. No, I'm not salty about some specific incident, why would you ask?
Chasm Notations: Cliff notes parody channel/podcast where I go over all those classic novels I never read for English and pick apart some basic themes. AKA redo homework from like 10 years ago.

Which is German for “body plan.” But even if you don’t speak German you say “bauplan” anyway. So this is a very hilarious Social Media Discourse from someone who has forgotten that the word “bauplan” is an instant giveaway that you are actually a biologist and that makes it fantastic it’s like when robots try to pretend that they’re human but better
