Trouble in digital space - got @/random-cockroach sketch to mess with to get back into groove, here sketch under

#kef!stuff #I saw Unicron in G1 movie and loved how it looked like a giant eyeball with a halo #those teeth though #kind of too cartoony for my taste #so I gave him teeth that mimicked an iris if you look at them from a distance #and yeah the iconic G1 halo is amazing and must stay #the first sketch had Seraph flying around too. but here’s the deal. if I wanted to keep the size difference somewhat accurate-ish #I would have to draw Seraph as a single tiny white dot and that would STILL be very generous #Unicron is so tremendously big that it has an atmosphere #it has surface landscape and rivers/vessels #yes I wanted the eye vessels to be in the design #…….dang it’s my first time designing a planet I have no idea what I am doing #okay okay ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS #Gravity on different planets depends on their mass and radius #to have a strong gravity a planet must be both big and dense #if a planet is HUGE but made primarily of gases then it’s gravity is gonna be weak #now question is #are we making Unicron to be a mechanical planet made of metal?#because considering the fact that Unicron is fucking MASSIVE……if it was additionally made of dense metal then the gravity would be brutal #although…being a living organism would mean Unicron is not a solid piece of material. it would have an internal system of some kind #Some more additional thoughts!#Unicron destroys stars and planets #and it is also big enough to have its own orbit #which means that Unicron would likely be permanently surrounded by asteroid field…rings?#it can have rings #it can have a massive cloud of wreckage permanently scattered around it #I…I have no idea how to draw it in a good and understandable way landscapes are not my strong suit #If there are tons of rocks orbiting Unicron then Blurr would have to perform VERY fucking IMPRESSIVE manoeuvring because this is is not-#not passively floats around haha noooo it spins! And if you’re wondering - an orbiting rock would have zero problem penetrating Seraphs hull #space roommates au

Nope. Dead bodies are a huge sanitary hazard so Shockwave had to remove them from the ship by gently and respectfully throwing them out of an airlock.

Okay, but you mentioned Shockwave disliking how Blurr swims in his clothes and wanting to fix it, and also his probably wanting to cuddle the touch-deprived stray he picked up... Also, Shockwave is missing an arm.

Sewing is a two hands activity. (At least without extensive re-training and some accessibility aid.)

So I'm now picturing Shockwave going "come on, I'll teach you how to take in a seam" and then using the need to give directions on how to hold the fabric and the needle to get riiight next to Blurr as he teaches him to sew.

(of course, that only works if Shocwave does know how to sew... I do, so I tend to assume everyone else also does.)

Okay I see your vision but I think you’re a little bit forgetting that Blurr is not a wild forest child who never touched a tool. He is from a future that lacked many things so he (and everyone) had to know how to use what they had to manually make what they needed.

And with their lack of materials for new fabrics? With their “this shirt must live long enough to serve my future grandkids” setup?

Blurr is excellent at sewing. Straight up amazing at it. He can sew quickly and neatly and masterfully. He had to fix his own clothes his entire life after all:)

Meanwhile Shockwave is definitely the kind of person who accidentally rips a seam on his shirt and then just buys a new shirt about it. He did not know how to sew before he lost one arm and there is pretty much zero chance he’d be eager to learn one-handed sewing now. Unless he runs out of clothes lol.

But I like your idea so I propose a little bit of reverse situation:D Blurr offers to fix some of Shockwave's clothes and Shockwave is like "can I watch? I wanna watch" both because Blurr's efficiency is a form of art but also because Shockwave can justify sitting riiiight next to Blurr and maybe lean a bit closer to see better hehekghgi
