"I do welcome the kind hand of fate whenever they decide to show themselves," she chuckles, but the smile is warm and sincere. "I appreciate the help very much. I thought I had my supplies stocked, but I found out at the worse time that I was mistaken. But thank you again, is there anything I can do to repay your kindness?"
โAh! Someone after my own heart! Many nowadays scoff at the mere idea of fate.โ They chuckled softly and gently patted the bag where they knew their espurr was likely already fast asleep. โOne perk to always having to haul around this little one, is that he's quick to let me know if anything is missing.โ
Ramil smiled and shook their head. โYou needn't repay anything. I would hope someone would show me the same kindness if I found myself in need.โ They paused, tapping a finger against their lip. โBut . . . should you enjoy a good show, I'm a diviner for a circus, and would love to see a friendly, and lovely, face come around my caravan. If you would be interested of course.โ
@myra-the-ishkia cont. from ( แฏโ )
Ramil softly blew the flame from yet another stick of incense before inserting the stick into the holder which resembled a dagger encircled by the vine of a rose, the center of which was where the stick sat. Of course few would know this as the entire thing was coated in dust from use.
They didn't mind the ishkia perusing their shelves, of course the items inside were their personal collection, only those found outside on the shelves being purchasable. Most of the items were stones and trinkets either remnants their mother had left behind, or their own collected from every corner of the map, each in a different state of ware.
It wasn't until they noticed her hand lingering dangerously close to a particular stone, a heart shaped rainbow hematite stone, the center of which was very worn from the stroking of a finger that they hastily crossed the caravan and delicately placed a hand beneath her chin, turning her toward them to keep her from touching it.
Though the stone wasn't even one of much value, to them, it was priceless. It was one of few items they had left of the one who got away.
And the ishkia played directly into his scheme, distracted, flustered by the hybrid's actions that she didn't realize it was simply to keep her from laying a hand upon the stone.
โIt's quite alright. I simply hadn't noticed how lovely your eyes were. My apologies if my actions were a little forward, but I simply needed a better look.โ A soft smile played on their lips as their eyes met hers, lingering for a moment before releasing her, though not before using her distraction to subtly shift their positions, so Ramil was between her and the shelves.
@muses-galore
It was rare to say the least for the diviner to have a moment away from their duties in the circus, whether it be performing or supervising the troupe's members. So when a moment to step away presented itself, they pounced upon it.
Ramil was crouched down, collecting herbs to use in making some of their potions and trinkets to sell on the side, singing to themself.
โโช โซ Crickly crack, the branches pop Here crawls the night that never stops. A tree that leans with twisted grin Her limbs are thrawn, her soul is sin Underneath the crooked moon- โซโช โ
Hearing approaching steps, they paused, turning their head to see who, or what was approaching. So much for finally having a night to themself.
โBeautiful night I'd say. Out for a stroll?โ
@zorblorbocentral ๊จ๏ธ'd for a starter
Another night of performances, another night of whispers and derisive stares. Another night of wearing their ebullient mask. Not that they ever took it off of course. What they wouldn't give for just one night left to their own devices.
With the night's performances in the big top wrapping up, mismatched eyes watched as the crowd funneled out and toward where the side show attractions and activities awaited.
The diviner sat perched upon a crate outside of their caravan, the exterior meticulously decorated to attract any who would find interest in having their fortunes told.
Often they were stuck night after night with couples and hopefuls entering to wonder of the condition of their relationship. Some left giddy, excited for what was to come, others blaming the hybrid for what their cards say, as if they intentionally gave painful truths by choice.
Tonight it seemed would be a quiet one, more of the denizens opting to simply rubberneck the unfortunate creature simply attempting to exist. Of course, Ramil looked outlandish, not simply due to their attire, which easily portrayed their profession with jewelry that jingled with every movement, but due to the large ears upon their head and the third eye intentionally accentuated upon their head.
They'd been born to be a mockery, a mixture of the two most scorned races. They had grown so used to the treatment. Though that didn't mean they enjoyed it, despite the playful smile glued to their face.
The hybrid rest a cheek upon their head as they waved a hand to a the next cluster approaching guests, not even bothering to look their way.
โWelcome! Welcome all! Step right up and allow my cards to enthrall!โ
He let out a soft noise at the other's comment about carefree life, not agreeing or disagreeing with it. He was a stranger, so he wasn't going to talk about his life to them.
At the offer, the Porygon turned to Markus and made some noises at the man before he sighed again. "Alright, you win," he stated, watching as the small Pokรฉmon chirped and spun, clearly excited about whatever the trainer agreed to. "I'll see you later, then, when we swing by the show."
Ramil watched the man and his pokemon discuss, although it seemed they had yet to win over the trainer, the pokemon was quite fond of them it seemed.
Funny how that tended to happen.
Upon the agreement, the diviner clapped their hands together with a grin.
โFantastic! I look forward to seeing you there! I do still have a ticket or two I can give away if you would be interested. I look forward to seeing what the cards hold for you.โ
What Kind of Demon Are You?
โMy, My. Now wouldn't that just be delightful!โ
(( About to run to the store, but if anyone would like a lil starter at some point feel free to drop this a like! ))
Markus watched the other, glancing over Porygon with a slight sigh, as the Pokรฉmon beeped and spun next to him.
Trust Boots to enjoy the theatrics.
"Yeah, that's why I don't work with other people anymore, just me and my Pokemon."
At the offered again, he let out a gentle hum.
"Sure, I'll swing by and get my fortune told if I'm in the area."
Ramil smiled over toward the Porygon. At least someone was interested in their efforts.
โIf only it were that simple. I was born into this life after all, can't exactly just walk away.โ They laughed as if it was a joke . . . if only it really was. โLiving such a carefree life must be fun~.โ
โAh! Great! Maybe that will make up for misplacing the clowns briefly. All of our performers are fantastic, you'll enjoy the show I'm sure, and my caravan is not difficult to find.โ

Leal blinked at that before handing over the cards to the teller. "I was wanting to know if Komo would get stronger or maybe evolve soon," he mumbled, seeming a bit shy, clearly fidgeting a bit with his jacket sleeve.
He was definitely watching the teller with interest, though, curious about the whole thing.
โThat, I can certainly work with.โ While they weren't sure what this Komo was, they had plenty of information they could work with. โA simple three card spread should suffice I think.โ
Cutting the deck, Ramil proceeded to lay out three cards face down on the table between them.
โThis first card represents your current situation.โ Flipping it, they began their brief reading.
โ = being caught in the middle of a storm with them. (markus)
Freetime was a rarity for the diviner, so finally having a moment with no expectations, they took it readily, spending it to wander the land they currently found themself on. The last thing they needed was for someone to take this from them, so they remained as far from the circus as possible.
It was just a shame they hadn't taken the time to check the weather before setting out . . . They should have known there was a reason there were no shows scheduled for today . . .
The storm seemed to roll in out of nowhere, rain pouring down on them in an instant.
Though it was fortunate, that a cave opening was not far off. Retreating inside for shelter, just as thunder began to roar, Ramil realized they weren't alone in the stone shelter. Though the face inside was one they swore they'd seen before.
โMind if I join you?โ They laughed with a smile. โPerhaps I should have consulted my cards before wandering out . . . โ
Myra hummed and nodded. "No right or wrong answer..." She parroted in a hushed mumble. One, or the other, or both, or neither. Anything and everything was on the table, and she had to choose.
A look of relief went across her face when they spoke again. That's good..! She didn't want to lose what she had with one by choosing the other. Though that still held the issue of choosing. Gah, she was starting to hate choices.
Then they spoke again, and her expression slowly shifted...From relief, to questioning. "..What I want..?" She hadn't quite...Thought about that.
What did she want?
Well...She wanted to stay by their side. She wanted to keep enjoying Basilio's delicious cooking. To see more of Fidelio's cute smile and laugh. To care for them when they're ill or injured, even if it's just a scratch or a sneeze to them. To crawl into the safe space between them in their bed on those bad nights. To see the excitement and joy in Bas' eyes, and the wag his tail did when he was pumped. To hear more of Del's playful teasing, no matter how flustered it made her. She wanted to keep laughing with them, feel safe to cry around them, trust them, hug them, love them.
And she fretted, for a moment. That was all stuff she already had. Did she already have everything she wanted? Was she asking for too much? Was neither the true option...?
But then she paused that train of thought. Both because it hurt to think about, and because...No, that wasn't all she wanted.
She wanted to hold them close. To kiss them. To push away the cold, harsh world outside and give them the love, comfort and care that they rightfully deserve. She wanted- yearned for something as silly and simple as a nickname. Yes, she wanted to be by their side, but she wanted to be at their side. To tackle things head on with them. No more second-hand, no more frantic pacing, worrying and waiting for them to return like a puppy at one's doorstep. She was no fighter, not physically at least. But she wanted to be there for them. Sword, shield, healer, shoulder, an ear...Anything. She cared far too much to be anything less. She hoped both of them care, too.
Even if she wouldn't change either way...She hoped they love her, as well. Even if it wasn't the same way.
Blinking twice, Myra realized that she had been in her head for...A bit, probably. She nearly forgot that the fortune teller said anything else after, catching up after her mind scrambled for it. "S-Sorry..!" She uttered quickly, her hands fidgeting with one another, "I, um...I'm not quite sure. That was the main, major thing I wanted to...Get a third opinion on." Then brought one up to rub the back of her neck. "Unfortunately there aren't many other facets of my life to ask about.."
Ramil watched as she pondered his words. Admittedly, they were the last person who should be giving relationship advice considering their history, and yet, here they were. Hopefully she could at least find use in their words.
As she broke from her woolgathering, they laughed to themself.
โA third? Well I hope I was able to shed some light on the situation for you.โ They rose to their feet, motioning for her to do the same. Unfortunately they had a quota to meet . . .
โIf that is the case, I should allow you to return to your friends . . . and perhaps next we meet you will be accompanied by one of those we spoke of for another reading.โ They gave a playful wink.
Cashmir didn't have a fast pace, the cane kept him at a steady one, but one that would not allow him to ditch the other. How annoying... Especially given that the fool did not take a hint at all.
The Lucario barely glanced at him, given Ramil was keeping his distance. "I doubt we run in similar circles. I'm a business lawyer. And I'm heading to a client meeting now, so if you don't mind, please stop following me, it would be unprofessional if I allowed a stranger to follow me to the meeting."
โA lawyer? Ha. Arceus knows I could use one of those.โ They muttered to themself, imagining how it would feel to milk those bastards for all they were worth.
If only.
โFine, Fine. I'll leave you be. But, if you ever feel so inclined, or you are just bored, come find me for a reading. It could be fun~, or enlightening.โ
They were supposed to be out here advertising after all . . . so now at least they could say they had an excuse for bothering the man. Not that he was even listening to them anymore
