The Yassification Of The Cullens, Chapter one
Angelica Cullen was a perpetual fifteen year old with light brown hair, the gift of “just knowing things” and an increasingly narrowing tolerance for her older adoptive brother’s bullshit.
Not Emmett though, she liked Emmett. He made the best ”your mom” jokes and teamed up with her against the rest of the family in Monopoly. Whether cheating was involved or not didn’t need to be mentioned, the point is they absolutely dominated over everyone else.
Jasper, she could tolerate, he didn’t really do anything. He was like a worn down pencil in a pencil case that was too short to use, but you still kept it around for no real identifiable reason.
No, the brother she had an issue with, was Edward.
As both the youngest and oldest Cullen sibling, Angelica was used to having her opinions dismissed by the majority of the family. According to the rest of the group, she was either too naive to understand what she was talking about or times had changed too much for her to grasp a concept.
However, she thought that they would have all been on the same page when the concept of stalking came up.She would have thought it was common sense to agree that you shouldn’t break into houses and watch people from your biology class sleep.
And yet here she was, having to question everyone’s judgment when it came to Edward and his relationship with the human girl, Bella.
Angelica hadn’t even noticed Bella at first. She blended in amongst the sea of other girls pouring out of their cars. And besides, Angelica was too busy with her own problems. Like how she wasn’t a lizard right now.
“I’m just saying,” She rambled, her feet kicked up on the dashboard, “Dr Connors had the right idea.”
She had been talking about lizardfication for the entire car ride, forcing everyone to rethink their decision to rewatch Spiderman earlier that morning. Rosalie and Edward bore twin glares aimed at Jasper, who had been the one to suggest it. He was quickly regretting saying anything at all.
“He wouldn’t have been able to turn us anyway.” Edward muttered irritably, desperate to end Angelica’s endless drivel. “Vampire skin is too hard to penetrate.”
Emmett snorted from the front seat, expertly swinging the steering wheel around another corner. “That's what she said.” He grinned. From behind them, Alice and Jasper snickered. Through the rearview mirror, Angelica could make out Rosalie rolling her eyes.
“That doesn’t even make sense.” Edward informed his brother irritably, his arms crossed across his chest like an irritable child.
“You know who doesn’t have to be Vampires?” Angelica piped up. “Lizards.”
A chorus of irritated grumbles and groans and a chuckle from Emmett rushed through the car as Angelica began her rant once more. Edward attempted telling her to shut up but was quickly rebutted with: “You know who doesn’t have to shut up? L I Z A R D S.”
When they eventually got to school everyone was quick to rush out of the car, eager to escape any more Lizard rants the girl had to throw at them. She watched the rest of her siblings melt in amongst the rest of the students. With a heavy sigh, Angelica hopped out of the car and made her way up the cement stairs to the brick building.
