"Maybe sometimes life rigs things in our favour."
for a romcom, Voicemails For Isabelle sure made me cry a lot. 10/10, no notes. is zoey deutch the new queen of romcoms or what? and nick robinson? what a man. need them in even more romcoms
aang done pissed off BOTH of his wifes. goddamn...
I love that wlgyt highlights that love is important, but a romantic partner is not the answer to everything, it's nice to have someone, but even the sweetest person in the world won't make your life a fairytale, and it's crazy to think that till this day some people still see marriage and parenthood as this magical thing that will fix everything, just to get disappointed because it's simply not realistic
When the camera slowly reveals that Aesun's poetry collection book editor had the face of Aesun's mom i BROKE.... something something "I wonder if my mom's life would have been better if i were never born" something something "a mother's love transcends across lifetimes" ... this drama will kill me i swear
There's me before watching when life gives you tangerines and there's me after. I will never be the same.

Gwan sik's constant "if you don't like it then run away and come back to me" is the reason why geum myeong was able to leave yeong beom. She knew...she knew that her father would be by her side no matter what and I love how the show highlighted the importance of supportive parents. I'm so sad that it ended though. Dramas like these are so rare. They always end up leaving a mark.

Yay!
He's finally come around! (took him long enough, but I'm still proud)
Gotta love redemptiom arcs 😌
Also, petition for another drama where both maeng sena and the prosecutor are the main leads. Enemies to lovers trope #pleasepleaseplease #enemiestolovers

MAENG SENA & DO RAIK — parallels (part two | part one)
I keep thinking about the wonderful role-reversal with Idol I. Instead of the male lead being the stoic, distant, guarded and calculating character, we have Raik who literally wears all of his emotions on his sleeve. Like this guy is an uninhibited crier. No joke. He cries when he’s angry, cries when he’s hurt, cries when he’s shown appreciation, cries when he is grateful and cries when showing empathy. I mean shiiiiiit - you look at him with the smallest hint of love and care and the man tears up. Yet he is also warm and open and kind as fuck. Oh you know, he’ll tell you he feels safe with you and wants to keep living with you (he could be crying). He’ll tell you (while almost crying) that he’s thankful for you and your support. He’ll clearly and respectfully communicate how you hurt his feelings (crying), but then also gaze at you with unguarded affection and admiration (and tears). He has also been rescued / taken care of how many times now? Like the man is breaking all of the stereotypical norms for male leads. And he looks so damn pretty while doing it.
And then we have Sena, who has up until this point been guarded, rational, quiet and reserved. She can be cold, edgy and in-your-face. She’ll verbally put you in your place and look hot doing it. Especially if you’re a piece of shit to her. But like the stereotypical male leads, she’s sooooft to the one or two people in the world that she cares about. Instead of a male lead showing that rare affection to the person they love, we have Sena giving the physical affection to Raik when he is having a nightmare. Or when he’s curled up in a ball in a corner or on the street in a downpour. And instead of it being the bubbly female character that draws out the guarded male, it’s Raik’s warmth and openness that paved the way for Sena to become more vulnerable and open with him. And I love that.

He's finally seen the cap! Don't know if he remembers meeting a girl and giving her his cap years ago but this is much better than Se-na telling him about it herself. Also, their past connection being through a cap is giving me major Fruits Basket feels.

This is the second time Ra Ik ended up passed out on the street.
Young man, you need to stop this habit or you will end up a victim of one of the multitude of serial killers that kdramas have informed me roam Seoul.
