Tbh I'm not sure where I'm going with this post. Im here mostly to show what I've been working so far on my thesis project and to tell you guys that I'm taking a break.

I love to create my art or even post art but I feel I need to sharpen my skills more and focus on that. Being on this platform just feels like a long, deep, shout into the void - I can't put it right into words besides that I get the same draining and more of a chore than it's being enjoyable.

It feels like television per short, and I haven't watched tv in 10 years; and internet it's slowly slipping thorugh into the same headspace and a few years ago I used to like this platform but it has become cluttered and I'm not seeing even the artists I followed for years here but endless reels and suggested posts and... You know the drill. I'm trying not to turn this caption into a huge rant but I just grew tired of it I guess.

I'll come back probably in the summer and make some artist portfolio accounts on some sites that catched my attention for a while. Until then stay safe, DM me on here if ya wanna keep in touch since I'll be unistalling Instagram and most of my other apps.

The last of us is my favorite video game ever - I loved it to bits. The folks that know me are aware that I won't stop talking about it once I start and why should I?

I was very skeptical at the thought of a TV series at first since I thought the actors couldn't convey the emotion or demeanor of the characters especially for Joel and Ellie but damn did they win my heart.. . It's one of the greatest shows I've recently watched and here's some sketches of some scenes I really liked.

Beast's perception II . Blanched roar and sounds of silence, straying into speechless void. He, a beast, departing into darkness once again after his  eye began to shine; marching gentle trough the dark because for wherever he went, he was still there, and the darkness looked into him and his eyes began to shine again.

To say what art means is futile; while it's easy to understand what artstic creation should represent trying to put an ultimatum doesnt quite work :art is like the unexplaiable feelings that we constantly feel inside ourselves I think. Though the lately spread of "Ai art" is most of the times unethical (like always), endlessly greedy, illegal and such an insult for people that often dedicated their life to this craft I can tell for myself that I do not support it.

While feeling more as a result of capitalism and corporations going after profits and our extra consumerist society, AI image generators don't come out as a 'tool' but rather as a way to exploit the art community. The program uses images and art without consent of the artist - ai image generators are pretty much theft - stealing years of poeple's dedication and development. As if the trope of the starving artist wasn't starving enough..

This comes from someone that absolutely loves the mix between art and technology : I played Journey 17 times I think, and I loved Before your Eyes and both these games's vision or stories exclusively work because of this good use of technology and they still mesmerize me even though I know the main twist. I hope this gets regulated, the Ai generated images infiltrated the Arstation space which is a site for professional artists to get in contact with companies and if this doesn't sound like 14 levels of disappointment I don't know what does. I dont think anyone that goes out into the art field goes with lots of hope. We all know how underappreciated this field is and even though all the odds tells us otherwise we still decide to keep going. I know it's demoralizing and scary it is see how AI art is getting more trendy day by day both for me and for other artists but I encourage every artist out there to keep going despite this and still create artwork that they want to bring into the world.

I encourage fellow artists and even others to fight this trend, its our art, our passion and desire
