Playoff time in Quebec is insane cause I call my brother and we talk about the game and the best way to pirate it. I call my mom and she tells me which player she'd like to adopt or throw to the dogs. I call my dad and we discuss goalie stats. I call my grandpa and he tells me about our promising rookies. I call my friends and we watch the game together cause one of them played goalie in highschool. I go to work and everyone is making brackets on whos gonna win what.

I go outside and I see people with habs jerseys in coffeeshops. I turn in a backstreet and see kids playing street hockey pretending they're Caufield and Suzuki. I take the bus and 2 old men start talking about whos injured and whos gonna come back in time for game 6. My neighbors put up images of the captain in their windows like charms to ward off evil. I go on the metro and hear the players voice call my next stop its inescapable and i'd want nothing else.
