A. This is my main blog, so it's an eclectic mix of stuff I like, stuff I make, stuff I think is funny.

As far as fandoms, I post a lot of Scooby-Doo (the reason I post Scooby on main blog instead of a sideblog is because l'm already Scooby on main for ages - I have a pretty good following for my irl Twitter account, in my local Twitter scene, because of my Scoobyposting). But l'll post whatever I find interesting. Sometimes I'lI post art, or maybe some writing. Who knows!

Someone just said to me, 100% seriously, “the US is the most oppressive country in the world and you’re brainwashed by propaganda if you don’t see that.” Come the fuck on now.

While it certainly cannot be denied that there are certain aspects of the US and her government, just like my own country, that are horrifically, brutally repressive, especially of minorities, keeping a straight face while saying that while the governments of countries like Iran, Afghanistan, China, Russia, exist is deeply, farcically ludicrous.

for those who don’t remember, “mole interest” was an experiment I did 2 years ago because I wanted to test what causes tags to go trending on tumblr. My hypothesis was that all it takes is one (1) post blowing up in an established tag to make the entire tag trend.

I had randomly generated 2 words, which is where “mole interest” came from. I failed to consider that by generating a new tag, it wouldn’t have had enough posts already in it to prove what I now call “the mole interest effect”.

But now it does.

In 2023, we said “fuck it” a la mythbusters and ended up doing whatever it took to get #mole interest to trend. And it did. And it happened to be September 11th that day, and we managed to get #mole interest to trend ABOVE #9/11.

So, in the name of science, I ask you to reblog just this post. Let’s put the mole interest effect to the test.

reading and watching “classic” books and films is such an interesting experience because, before you get into them, when you only know them by name and maybe the vaguest plot outline, they’re intimidating and stuffy and up on a pedestal, but then you finally take the leap and check them out and realize that almost every story that’s achieved such a legendary level of popularity did so because something in its emotional core reached out and grabbed a lot of people by the throat and you are NOT immune.

what yall think?? i really wanted them to seem like students and in that odd blend of being modern but also 60s/70s coded

as yall know i'm obsessed with scooby doo, so redesigning the gang made my heart soar

it's always bothered me when i've seen other artists redesign them because they always make shaggy an aloof stoner and fred the jock, like?? in the og series shaggy is legit described by daphne as being the swingingest gymnast in their school, my guy is absolutely sporty how yall think he outruns the villains all the time??? and my autistic baby boy freddie has the best characterisation in the best scooby series mystery incorporated. I really wanted to build on him from that series as being a mechanical engineering type student to tie in his love traps and creations,

the girls to me are nearly always perfect but I do feel like daph should be in shorts or pants if she's going to be using fighting skills yk?
