I am genuinely so sorry for what I’m about to say, from the bottom of my heart, I truly do regret my next words, but… Dani would be one of those “horror ipad kids”, like, she’s obsessed with creepypastas and grimdark fics, MLP gore art and animations, obsessively plays those roblox horror games that definitely shouldn’t be available to kids, has her own FNAF OCs etc. etc. She tells you that she wants to show you this “Real cool youtube video it’s so awesome!” and it’s like a 3 minute clip of some cartoon character going insane being trapped in the backrooms or whatever. Her only connection to media for kids is through internet horror, she saw all kinds of art and videos about Squidward’s Suicide before she even watched an episode of Spongebob. I think the only exceptions to this were MLP, which she discovered though her love of horses and ponies, and kid friendly media Danny liked at some point in his life, which Vlad forced her to experience since she’s a clone.

The best character development is when the antagonist doesn't even really change or redeem himself. Like no, he still sucks, he's just on our side now.

fantastic post op. may i add when a previous antagonist has the same personality traits as before but framed as good things now that theyre on your side? "cold and calculating" becomes "unflichingly practical" when you need someone to push the big red button, "hair-trigger temper" is now "takes no shit", and no one is more dependable for chasing the big bad to the ends of the earth than that spiteful, unforgiving bastard who was hunting you down last season

Hey guys,

As a Phandom, can we not depict w*ndigos as some cryptid or ghost thing?

The native cultures the folklore is from by and large don't want them to be used or depicted by the general populace. Additionally, the general populace doesn't know them or depict them as the original sources do - rather, they are stripped of their context. Because of this, using them is disrespectful.

Using them is cultural appropriation.

I know a number of people don't realize this - heck, I didn't know it was disrespectful and cultural appropriation until the backlash against Supernatural using them, because most the sites I visited that had them just didn't mention it. (The same goes with s**nw**kers, by the way - the folklore they're from says we shouldn't use the name, and the cultures the folklore is from don't want us using it.)

I know this has come up in the Phandom before - Phanniemay nearly used it as a prompt several years ago, but it was quickly removed once the situation was explained.

I'm not naming any names - but I'm starting to see terms and folklore we shouldn't appropriate crop up in Phandom again, so I wanted to spread the word.

Sam probably finds the most intricate menorahs she can that fit her aesthetic and thrifts ones she finds at resale places for her grandma

I cannot imagine that girl having anything less than the most goth or punk looking menorah possible and/or being environmentally friendly and finding old ones to repurpose.

I saw a guy on tiktok who was proudly showing off his family menorah. It was made out of melted Nazi silver coins by a Jewish silversmith in Austria. I can't remember if he said it was made after the fall of Nazi Germany or just before it fell, but either way that is one of the most metal things I have ever heard.

It feels like the sort of heirloom Ida Manson would pass down to her grand daughter.
