vocab lessons by SNAKEHABITATTURNAROUND: love both fics in the series but this one has such a special place in my heart. both ilya and shane's voices feel so distinct and does a beautiful job at making one feel the love the two have for each other

we could get better mileage by twnkwlf: you may have already read this, but as a hollanov-never-have-kids truther in a fandom that's rife with it, i found this super rewarding. also, includes one of the most romantic lines to ME

a winner at heart by pressuretoparty: this is part of their winners verse series, which i defo rec reading but this is my personal fave for having shane doing molly in monaco. also, perfect for letting the two (ilya in this fic) being mean and badly-behaved, all while making clear that they love each other a lot

"Asexual people are often assumed to “lack” attraction. But in reality, many report rich and varied forms of attraction that don’t map neatly onto sexual desire.

So instead of asking “how does attraction work?,” we asked:

What do people actually mean when they say they feel attracted to someone?" "Drawing on both qualitative and quantitative data, we identified and validates seven different forms of attraction:

intellectual

aesthetic

emotional

platonic

sensual

romantic

These aren’t just theoretical distinctions. Statistically, they show up as separate but related dimensions—meaning people really do experience attraction in multiple, distinguishable ways." "Our findings demonstrate that both asexual and non-asexual experience multifaceted forms of attraction.

why is no one talking about the book reunion scene. did you know when grace explains that he’s going to die of starvation, rocky immediately tells him to leave and go back home, that he’ll just keep waiting, that erid might send another ship someday. i’m going crazy. rocky had probably completely accepted his fate and then grace miraculously appeared and gave him back his life and his home. and he was instantly willing to give it all up again just so grace could survive. can anyone hear me. this is insane. i’m insane
