pov ur chronically ill and getting to the point where your body is decaying at a faster rate than usual and all of your hair is falling out when that was the only thing you ever truly liked about yourself and ur forgetting everything that you do in a day by lunch and your skin is revolting and your rosacea and eczema are banding together to make sure you have the biggest nastiest pimples over bright red skin all day every day even on your tits and your eyelashes are falling out and get stuck in your contacts and irritate your eye enough that you have a stye and now you can’t even wear mascara and you don’t see yourself in the mirror anymore and its no longer “just temporary” or “just hair, it’ll grow back” because no it won’t and you look disgusting and people stare at you and look at you with hate or judgement even though you’re trying so hard and no one will tell you why this specifically is happening just now and you’re trying you’re trying you’re trying so so hard ur doing everything everyone tells you to do but its not enough you’re still not yourself anymore and you’re starting to look like a drug addict from all of the bruises coating your arms alongside the pockmarks of getting ur blood drawn and tested and no one will look at you the same anymore not even your family especially not your family because they quietly resent you for wasting all of their money with no results but you promise that you’re trying so hard its not your fault its yours yours its your fault your fault and and and and

every day you fight off that suicidal itch in the hopes that you’ll see the maybes and the could bes and the what ifs but it is starting to feel like those possibilities are just childish hopes you’ll need to let go of soon

also, I’m sorry, but how did Eddie being killed have anything to do with the plot except for refusal for one of the main characters to die? and by bats? really? that’s it? And Dustin had to sit there by himself and what, all of them collectively decided to leave him there? And only Dustin talked to his uncle?
