I love that the modern-day tumblr post equivalent of chain emails only requires me to reblog a relatively pleasant image instead of forward an email to a bunch of my friends and family members to quell my raging anxiety.
It’s a win win. I get a bit of hope, you get a cute birb photo

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
The worst characters are the ones were you only get like three pieces of lore about them but the lore is so fascinating and hits your brain at just the right angle to have you behaving like a feral dog in front of your conspiracy theory cork board
tumblr is for putting your stuff somewhere that's not secret but also not for anyone particular to see so it's true neutral in a really nice way

character who is sun-coded but not in the traditional ray-of-sunshine way. character who is sun-coded in the sense that they burn hot and bright and powerful, that they're a raging fury of fire and passion, and that maybe, just maybe, they are destroying themselves as they do so.
in 2026 DO NOT ask yourself whether your art is GOOD
instead ask:
is it SINCERE
was it CATHARTIC
was it FUN TO MAKE
is it MADE BY ME
and don't forget to stay silly
me after writing out the scene I imagined in my head:
Cats Copy. Hence the phrase copy cat. And this cat is clearly fond of this dog as a family member, and just now realized by observing:
"OH WAIT Human is making biscuits on this dog brother and it HELPS with his pain??? Hey I can do that!! I can do that too! Look! Biscuits!!"
Veterinarian at the next follow up: "Dog is looking really good! But I'm concerned - with this kind of progress, it looks like Dog is getting HOURS of massage every day. If you work yourself into a repetitive motion injury, you won't be able to keep up with Dog's home physical therapy, and, you know, you'll be hurt, too."
Human: "I give Dog a massage for about 30 minutes a day. The rest is all Cat."
It's time for the passing year!
✨🌟✨Happy new year!!✨🌟✨
Wishing you the best as always, health and success for you through 2026!
Keep it up!
a lil bit late but merry christmas y’all

Do you understand the consequences when we let you in? - Silk Road (2017)
when you think about it teenagers of the next generation will never get to experience a cw show with 7+ seasons and 22 episodes per season. they will never know what it's like to be insanely obsessed with a mediocre show with mediocre writing and mediocre acting (with one really good actor carrying the show on their backs). they will never know the feeling of fighting weekly in the trenches for your ship only for the writers to screw you over. they will never be so increasingly disappointed by the worsening writing choices as the seasons progress and they will never know what it's like to watch the worst series finale after investing years into a show. and that is the biggest tragedy.
Cancel me if you will, but I literally think all of that made all of those 2010's shows to be as iconic as they were. Waiting each year and each week was what built the exitement and created the long lasting fandom that is still alive nowadays. I feel genuinely bad for everyone since Netflix took over and on because they won't experience exactly that, and in a way, that's what made these show last that long.
I remember watching a Netflix show (8 episodes, one season, 45 minutes-1 hour long each of them), and thinking it had the exact vibe of SPN, it wasn't top tier writting at all, but it kept you entertained...Next week to it's premier everyone had already watched the whole season and no one was talking about it anymore. Nowadays no one even remembers the show.
It's quite sad honestly, in my opinion, because "mediocre" shows that would get a small fandom if it came out weekly through tv, building up the fandom and tension each week as we fight, create content and wait, dissapear without a trace from one week to another. The way things work now, we only have the very BIG shows that everyone tune in to watch even if it takes years on the making, or literally one day trending shows, and it's heartbreaking because I watched so many good shows who didn't had a big following but still gave us a whole season, or more than one, with an ending and a great story, which nowadays it's hardly impossible.
Overall I just miss the waiting, the exitement about teasers for new episode or seasonal trailers, the filler theme episodes of Halloween or Christmas, I NEED TV SHOWS TO TV SHOW LIKE THEY USED TO TV SHOW BEFORE!
