My biggest takeaways from Chicago PD Season 8 Finale: SPOILERS

Ruzek is so still in love with Kim, even if he was upset at her.

Upton being the voice of reason to Ruzek, keeping him from going over the ledge, saying exactly what he needed to hear.

Ruzek being Dad to Makayla.

Despite fighting and their differences, Kevin still stays on the phone to keep Ruzek in the loop on Kim's status.

Upton saying they all love Kim. (And periodically looking like she is gonna break a little bit.)

Platt quietly doing everything in her power to help.

Jay and Kevin instantly running when they see the hazard lights.

Jay telling Kim they're there if she can hear him.

Jay in a panic. Kevin deadly calm almost, but still holding her and telling her he's got him.

Jay tearing out of there like a bat outta hell.

Jay sounding so broken telling Voight and Upton her injuries.

Platt in the background at the hospital as they roll her in.

Upton is not Voight. She can also be his voice of reason.

Vought loves Kim, even with his doubts at the start, and will show it in... his own ways.

Kim being a strong person, but absolutely panicked in this moment, and knowing she is likely going to die.

Kim saying "don't die", a call out to when Roman got shot.

Jay saying that Kim has been through the worst and made her way back.

Also, why are Kim and Jay the most shot people on this show? And kidnapped? Kim also seems to get her ass beaten quite often on this show. How many times has she had this happen as of now? (My two favs have she show writers out to get them man!)

Hi my job is literally to reset the shelves and honestly?? Slap that rice. Slap it good. patting down the bags makes it easier to stack more, which means when I have to do it it’ll be flatter and more settled and more likely that I can just slide it along without it slidin’ around.
