"My" 2026 Job Market, Economy & Most of "Us" Being Filtered Out Before Being Presented to Senior Leaders

NOTE: FIRST — to be VERY clear, a lot of this paper ALSO refers to many, MANY others out there in the job market, suffering through the economy as well. ----- Undergoing pretty much the very same thing (in the same boat)… SECOND — this article is not in reference to the human automatic filtering process most companies have in place today. That is primarily due to the resume overload/crush taking place everywhere. The article is in reference to the multiple recruiters who contact me & maybe the “Virtual recruiter” emails I receive off / on.. . Those recruiters that are NOT looking at the whole picture of candidates — as to what candidates have done in the past and what they CAN do in the future, when considering that person’s past/current work, education efforts and their career trajectory...
