TO ANYONE WHO USES DISCORD- FOUR AI SCRAPING BOTS HAVE BEEN SECRETLY ADDED TO YOUR SERVERS WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT

Saw this going around and tested it myself, and I can confirm that this is unfortunately legit. Four hidden bots have been placed in any existing or newly created Discord server that are harvesting data, images, and most concerningly, one seems to be a face swap bot.

Due to them being invisible, banning them from your servers isn't possible without their ID's, which I've typed out for easy access.

Banning is done with the /ban command with each string pasted in one at a time. Four ban commands in total.

Image proof below and further information. This was in my PERSONAL server that has existed for +5 years. Discord is harvesting your shit without your consent, fight back.

Hey so in case you're like me and wondered: Can you ban members without them being in the server?

The answer is yes, you absolutely can! It'll look like this - the numbers you paste will be what's "banned"

However my sibling tried this in her servers and found that One of them was NOT a string of numbers, like so:

And for clarity it isn't a difference in user or device, this is what she got elsewhere:

So if you ban these numbers and the message shows the actual username? Pretty sure that means they were in there.

Very unpleasant way to check the veracity of this post but hopefully this is a helpful tip for anyone who was concerned - my sib would have No Reason to add these in herself and didn't have any clue it was in there.

Personally, I'd say even if you are still worried about misinfo/fearmongering/etc from this post, think of it this way - worst case scenario is you're banning a bot you'll never use or need. Not a person, a bot. There's no real damage done playing it safe and running the ban commands through, aside from maybe losing some time doing so.

Wishing I'd seen this more quickly - Had to take these things out of a lot of creative spaces just now. I'm not convinced that the username only shows up if they were in there, but I do think it's better safe than sorry, especially when peoples' art is involved.

For context, ICE has been following kids home from school in hops of catching their undocumented parents and in some cases snatching them as soon as they get off school property. One kid was detained at this school by ICE just before Christmas break.

It is... jarring... to watch adults suggest that the appropriate punishment for protesting during school hours is to force them to take a class on the constitution.

One of the essential elements of this group is that they dont consider children to be people with ownership of their own thoughts.

One member of the dish seems to consider herself an investigative journalist, so she's combing the posts about the walkout for evidence that the students didn't organize this themselves but we're instead under the influence of some liberal woke teacher with an agenda that was actually pulling the strings.

Some teachers did attend, but thats not the same as organizing.

So shes combing through posts and finds that some anti-ice group listed as 'collaborators' on a post about it on Instagram. But she doesnt know what that means and just sees 'collaborator' and decides shes blown the whole thing wide open.

She has decided that the anti-ice group is a cabal of far-left democrats that are influencing the youth because the young people have NEVER been at odds with injustice, I guess.

You have to know how obnoxious i was about my stance on the war on terror when I was in high school.

Sokoto state, a majority Muslim state in north-west Nigeria was bombed on Christmas day. It is still unclear how many bombs were dropped and where. Confirmed is a bomb dropped on a Mosque in Jabo, killing 5 people.

Trump has claimed that this is in retaliation of the "Christian genocide" happening in Nigeria, committed by "radical Islamists" of the ISIL (ISIS), and the specific choosing of Christmas day was to reify that this is a religious based retaliation.

This Christmas, I am in Nigeria. My family is majority Christian. We are without fear of being persecuted on the basis of our religion. So, what is going on?

There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria. Nigeria is a complex country that faces a lot of violence, exploitation and subsequent neglect from our government. But it is not Christians being targeted in our country. This insidious piece of misinformation has been dutifully organised by US officials for months and gained steam on platforms like X and Truth Social.

I do not believe though, that this action was done to fight Islamic terrorists or protect Nigerian Christians. The reason being:

Sokoto state is not a state with ISIL activity.

This is another display of US throwing its weight around, conveniently, onto the most oil-rich country in Africa.

Do not believe everything the US tells you about its foreign affairs. The US will gladly spill blood on the flimsiest of justifications just to continue gorging its empire.
