My favorite thing was the tv listings in the paper. I would carefully scan them all for my favorite shows and then highlight them.

(Especially important when I was taping the syndicated reruns of The Pretender at 1:30am so that I could have EVERY EPISODE (EXCEPT THE BANK) on VHS.)

It took us years to see the eps for different shows in Finland. And if you missed them, sorry, no reruns so that was that.

And then if they decided not to show eps, there was no way to see them until years later (like the Xena ep The Price because Finnish TV labeled Xena as a kids’ show like Hercules, and then The Price was too violent for Xena’s air time.

It’s still like that here in Argentina, at least for most basic cable services. I you have one of the more expensive ones, via satellite, you can do things like pause and rewind, but otherwise if you don’t have Netflix or something similar, you can still experience the high stakes adrenaline mentioned at the beginning.

Go to https://myaccount.google.com/activitycontrols and this will take you to a page which states what information Google is currently tracking. Each section has a blue slider next to it. Click it and it will come up with a confirmation box, scroll through it and select “pause” and you should be good to go.

Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016).  There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.

okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because it’s a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back

Sun-tama-tama was considered as a candidate for Tama’s successor, but the Okayama Public Relations representative who had been caring for Sun-tama-tama refused to give the cat up writing, “I will not let go of this child, she will stay in Okayama.” [25]

As of September 2018, Sun-tama-tama is working as the stationmaster in Naka-ku, Okayama and appears occasionally on Tama’s Twitter account.
