Pauline Hanson is going full-Trump and undermining the freedom of the press, banning them from her events so she can control the narrative, and is avoiding any kind of public scrutiny or accountability she doesn't want. This is the opposite of what a functioning democracy requires. This is what fascists do. Hanson wants to be a dictator and hopes if she can keep sweeping under the rug how dysfunctional the party is, or how little policies it has, or how she is constantly hiring and choosing literal rapists and perpetrators of domestic violence as staff and candidates, that everyone will just focus on what they don't like about Labor and unthinkingly vote One Nation into power without realising just how fucking awful that'd be.
People have criticisms of Liberals, Nationals and Labor but at least they know what they're doing because of journalists. If One Nation can't face even basic public scrutiny and reporting, then what are they hiding? How much worse could it be than what we know about other parties?
