If you’re reading this, get that concert ticket. Book that flight. Don’t wait for the perfect timing. Do it alone. Do it scared. You’ll be okay. Trust me, I’ve done it, and it’s one of the craziest and best moments of my life.
Last July 9th, I missed eaJ's pop-up in MNL. Imagine the frustration I felt when I was just at the exact place a day before that event! If only I had known, I would’ve stayed another day just to see him. That was my "multo". It literally haunted me at night, so I told myself that if ever he comes back, I had to be there.
He did announce his Asian tour in August. I was debating to attend at first because aside from the concert ticket, I also had to pay for my bus fare and airfare, plus I had to book a hotel, and they’re not cheap 😭😭. But I was like, "I need to make it happen. I have to! No other reasons needed” so I made the decision. I didn’t even tell my parents that I’d be going to MNL by myself just to watch a show, not until three days before I left😅😂
It was my first foreign concert, and I was nervous, but I met amazing fellow solo goers. I was so glad I got to meet them. I was also spoiled with gifts by other international and Filo Jars🥹🫶
What a time to be alive. Wars rage and countless lives are lost, all in the name of money and power.
They said that “Life is unfair,” but the hard truth is, people are unfair. The corrupt ones with power and position are most to blame, while the poor are the ones who suffer.
Everyone needs someone, whether it's a family member, a friend, or a partner. It makes life worth living. I hope you find yours.
