This peach-colored robe à la polonaise first swept across the screen in the 2006 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆, where it was designed by Milena Canonero and worn by Kirsten Dunst as the ill-fated queen. Canonero’s sumptuous work on the film was recognized with the Academy Award for Best Costume Design. But that wasn’t the end of its story. In 2012, the gown reappeared in the Danish historical drama 𝑬𝒏 𝒌𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒈 𝒂𝒇𝒇æ𝒓𝒆 (𝑨 𝑹𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒇𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒓), worn by Alicia Vikander as Caroline Mathilde — a reuse confirmed by the film’s director, Nikolaj Arcel. The following year, it returned to the screen in 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒓 (𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓), where María Valverde wore it as María Teresa Bolívar. See the artwork that inspired this gown at Bit.ly/StuGeo079
Tumblr is unique bc like. It's collaborative shitposting and you can't opt in or out. You can just say something about your day then an evil wizard shows up to turn your post into something humorous
Every other site is just one and done, but here a post is a welcome mat to be funnier than you
yeah or sometimes you’ll see a post that hacks into your brain and forever rewrites your instinctual reaction to seeing a pineapple explode

Realized on ... Thursday afternoon? That this year's valentines day is preceded by Friday 13th. Fun little idea.
You can download this for free from my Ko-fi. Print it at home or locally to give to your killer valentine! [ko-fi link]
Art historians have debated what they call a "mysterious expression" on the girl in Manet's "Bar at the Folies-Bergere" (1882) but I'm pretty sure it's just Customer Service Face
TFW you have several Crunchwrap Supreme™s to make but your cousin's friend Édouard keeps asking you to stop and pose for his painting.
