So I know I don’t post much anymore but I thought I’d give it a shot. About a month ago my mom was basically forced into retirement by her boss. I haven’t been able to work in the last few years because of various medical ailments so we’ve really depended on her income. She started a new job this week (thank Christ) but she’s having to take about a 1k a month pay cut with it so we’re trying to be careful financially. We’ve had some stuff going on with one of the dogs and three of the cats so we’ve had some surprise vet bills, and our credit card is maxed out due to my medical issues so it’s been pretty tight. I made an amazon wishlist with a few things that would be nice to have and would help us be able to save money for things like our medications instead. Thanks for reading ❤️

If you can donate a little or even share this gofundme to help this family get their trans child out of a hostile anti-trans state:

This is an awesome use of what is probably a master's degree if not a doctorate and I am 100% thrilled that she shared it even though it was embarrassing and she squeaked.
Thank you, adorable scientist, for making people's lives better.
As an Australian, THIS WOMAN IS A FUCKING GODSEND.
YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU CAN HANDLE CRITIQUE. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU CAN EMBRACE BEING TOLD YOU WERE WRONG. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH UNPLEASANT TASKS. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU CAN DELIVER DISAPPOINTING NEWS. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU KNOW HOW TO BE DISAGREED WITH. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU CAN BE CORRECTED. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU CAN BE TOLD YOU MESSED UP. YOU ARE A REGULAR GUY. YOU ARE ABLE TO DO HARD THINGS.
Hehe :)
the joyous giggler here at last to spread merry mirth ^_^
Well, well, well. If it isn't the consequences of someone else's actions that I am directly impacted and severely affected by
ITS MARCH YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
hey :/ i need some advice, feeling super ill today and my wife calpurnia had a weird dream about me dying. should i go to the senate meeting today anyway? not rlly feeling up to it
if you don’t go to the senate the senators will think you’re cringe
the way ozempic has finally made the fact that eating healthy and exercising doesn't necessarily make you thin well known and society's reaction to this is not "oh i guess being thin or fat doesn't actually show if you're healthy" but "oh i guess everyone should be on this drug"
opening tumblr in march and it's just like "huh. knife weather we're having."
idk what other disabled person needs to hear this but if you need someone to do something for you that would be very difficult for you to do but very easy for them to do, that is a small favor. you dont have to feel gratitude and guilt at scale based on how hard it would be for you to do it disabledly
also a more general point: you dont have to feel guilty when people do things for you. if someone is offering, or if you ask and they say yes, that means they want to do it. if for some reason they are pretending to be okay with it, that is not your fault, it is theirs. this goes for things you are incapable of doing, things that would be difficult for you to do, and even things that you could do without difficulty. even if youre not disabled. if someone cares about you they should be willing to help you out in the ways that they are able to.
[ID: Photo of a young girl wearing a pair of butterfly wings that have colorful translucent panels embedded in them. She is outside, facing the shadow she casts on the pavement, which showcases how the light falls through the panels, casting a colorful shadow. The girl has her hands raised to form the butterfly's antennae. /end ID]
