Happy (ha) barricade day to those who celebrate 😭✌️
It's the 9 year anniversary of this magnificent work of art that made the Les Mis fandom absolutely lose their minds in 2013
No way have I MISSED the 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of this video??? I. am. Devastated.
Happy (?) Barricade day to the entirety of the Les Mis fandom materialising today to cry about the 19th century revolutionariy gays and the Paris sewer system before vanishing again tomorrow!
Saw a post like this with negative outlook so I asked for it to be fixed
It is truly the end of an era with Crimson Rivers ending and it's so so beautiful and amazing and everything BUT I am currently incredibly upset with myself for straight up forgetting what the event that led up to Regulus' dreams about Evan stopping was. Like I know it said "it would be a long time before he dreamed of Evan again" and I think it was during the victory tour and has something to do with the train but I just CANNOT figure out what it was specifically and also CANNOT find it. WHAT WAS IT???? Pls somebody tell me I'm desperate at this point
I need somebody who knows what they're doing to make an edit about Regulus to this song omg
Specifically for Crimson Rivers
Song: Welcome to Anhedonia - Cages the Musical
I DO NOT understand how people can say like "Oh I like Indie/Metal/whatever music and then just like almost every song from that genre and not listen to anything else like???
I have a Playlist that's like 8 hours with just pop/synth songs from before 1994 but then I also have one that's 11 hours with exclusively musical theatre songs and I'll listen to the cast recording of one musical for like a month straight. But then I'll also listen to Sabaton, which is Heavy Metal about history but I don't really normally like a lot of other metal music. But then I also really like Conan Gray songs and like Girl in Red or Marina and I'll have a phase where I'll just listen to that for a week.
But now I have reached a new peak of just pure wtf
I have been listening to Sabaton, Conan Gray and Ride the Cyclone songs INTERCHANGEABLY for like 3 weeks now.
WHY?
SOMEBODY TELL ME
So I just watched the entirely of Ride the Cyclone for the first time. I have already listened to all the songs and pretty much the whole thing separately (like I watched a scene here and there) and I have seen the ending scene already. I knew what was coming.
So somebody explain to me why I just sat there SOBBING from the moment Penny/Jane's life played through on the projector until the curtain call and a good 5 minutes after that. Just like- completely in tears. But also smiling/laughing. The whole time. THAT'S HOW GOOD THIS GODDAMN MUSICAL IS
Sometimes, when Sirius is sad he'll go and cry at the lake. And most of the time, a small black cat will sit with him until he feels okay.
Sometimes, when Regulus is sad he'll go and cry at the astronomy tower. And more often than not, a black dog will join him until he's calmed down.
Neither knows their brother is an animagus
Can anyone please write this on your fic? I demand that anyone who's writing to please put this
It's the 9 year anniversary of this magnificent work of art that made the Les Mis fandom absolutely lose their minds in 2013
Not the whole Les Mis Fandom coming together for two days to cry about some revolutionary gays from the 19th century and then vanishing again
Anyways It's Barricade Day!
Boomers when Gen Z were kids:

Boomer : *proceeds to tell completely different absolutely irrelevant story that has nothing to do with the previous conversation*
whoops i coloured it
now if only i could write the damn fic
UPDATE: i wrote the damn fic
I was rewatching Enchanted (Disney movie; highly recommend if you haven't seen it) the other day and it occured to me, not for the first time, that I kinda can't believe somebody hasn't done like a Fiyeraba AU for it. (Maybe they have and i just have not explored the depths of this site enough, very possible)
Because I think it works so well for it. Slight role reversal but like
Fiyero is the fairy-tale prince who is supposed to marry the princess (Glinda, I suppose, or maybe Sarima. Depends on how much you want to put the book into it) and gets sent to the "real world" and there he meets the disillusioned single mom Elphaba, who's been so worn down by reality that she doesn't believe in true love and all the "fairy tale" stuff and slowly they fall in love and he teaches her how to see the magic of everyday again and ends up staying with her in the real world.
Idk. I can totally see Fiyero starting a big dance and song number and Elphaba like going the whole time "people are staring. People are staring, Fiyero."
Just, i don't know. I think it works.
I was like twelve and I was sitting on my living room floor and my English teacher ( English isn't my first language btw) came in floating through our (closed) glass door that leads to like a patio thingy.
He proceeded to stand over me lean down and repeatedly scream at me to "WATCH THE TV!". I panicked and searched for the remote and turned the TV on. Then he stood back up right, smiled and said "thanks for watching" and floated back outside and was gone.
@one-time-i-dreamt
Is it just me or is anyone else getting major Race-vibes from "She Looks So Perfect" from 5 Seconds of Summer?? Like i don't even know why it doesn't make sense but for some reason i could just perfectly picture him singing that like- I- just WHY DOES MY BRAIN DO THAT
