i donât expect this to be very widely known but here in vancouver weâve had a barge stuck on shore since mid november
weâre going on day 25 of barge simpson not moving a damn inch and i for one hope it never moves
They put up a sign

youre making this so fucking difficultÂ
me: *says some shit*
someone: do you care to elaborate on that?
me:Â
Heâs trying so hard to be comfortable
i'm so tired of the online art influencer mentality that in a sketchbook everything in it has to look amazing and polished and flawless it's so performative!!!! sketchbooks should be for drawing stupid shit
What is heavier? A 200 pounds of bricks or 200 pounds of feathers?
The answer is the feathers.
200 pounds of bricks is just a bunch of bricks, but if you try to carry 200 pounds of feathers, you also have to carry the weight of what you did to those poor birds.
i canât get in lifts with people because i have a sort of phobia of breathing in peopleâs breath
and when i got asked what was wrong by my law teacher (she thought i looked ill)Â
I had to fucking reply âI prefer people when theyâre not breathingâÂ
Right, hard to be conclusive about the cause of death but, uhâŠWell, itâs going to be plague, isnât it?
A bunch of plague pit ghosts invisibly playing Guess Who with their own skeletons while an archaeologist excavates them is honestly one of the funniest concepts Iâve ever seen.

Between the decision to mail people COVID tests after mocking the idea and the decision to extend the student loan deferment after signaling that it would end in February, two things should now be clear to everyone:
1. Challenging the Biden Administration's decisions, even through griping and creating negative discourse around it in social media, can be an effective agent of change.
2. Those who say that we shouldn't speak up because it helps the Republicans are the ones doing real harm.
it is always morally correct to harass politicians on twitter
This right here is why I wanna punch all of the âboth sides are just as badâ people.
Because theyâre fucking NOT.
Look, Biden was not my first choice. He was not even my 5th choice.
But because of how politics work in the US, and because of demographic voting patterns, the second he announced his candidacy, I knew he would be the candidate we ended up with.
He is not (imho) the best one we could have had. But that does not mean he and his Administration are worthless. That does not mean that he and his Administration are the same as a violent and deadly Administration full of terroristic fascists who incited and led a very-nearly-successful coup last January.
And the big thing about Biden is that, while he is nowhere near as progressive as we want him to be on his own? He can be pushed there. If we are loud enough and critical enough about what we want and what we expect from our President and the Administration, he will change policy.
Which is how itâs supposed to work.
Itâs just been so long since thatâs what weâve gotten from the White House that some of us have forgotten that (or are young enough that youâve never had a president who followed the rules).
Biden and his Administration can be pivoted. So use your voice and speak up.
The president is our top tier representative, not our overlord. They're supposed to do what the people want and what's best for us, not whatever they want us to have to do

Jane Austen really said âI respect the âI can fix himâ movement but thatâs just not me. Heâll fix himself if knows whatâs good for himâ and thatâs why her works are still calling the shots today.
Meanwhile Emily Brönte just said âWe can make each other worse.âÂ
And Anne Brönte was like "Girl, get away from him"
