Yes, this is real.
Not to sound fucking alarmist, but uhhhhhh if Trump forcing immigrants to wear yellow insignias wasn’t enough of an alarm bells for you, maybe this is.
Apparently it is their line to reach court

I also want to make it abundantly clear this is why people say “fuck cops” and why “Blue Lives Matter” is bullshit. It may only be a “handful” of corrupt cops (which is also bullshit) but it’s the entire institution behind them that enables them and refuses to take any form of accountability. Every single cop is complicit. Every single one.
This is also why the thin blue line flags are so, so, so disconcerting to me.
The thin blue line is the line that cops won’t cross, which is doing anything to undermine cops.
It’s such an extremely us against them mentality where “us” is police and “them” is “everyone who isn’t a cop” that I’m legitimately confused when people claim it’s not a fascist symbol.
It’s signalling that you support cops over citizens and that you see cops as distinct and above citizens. It’s support for the police state and police AS the state.
My dad has a lawyer friend who said how he once defended a 16 year old boy that was tazed and beaten by cops for no reason. It was proven that this kid did nothing wrong but the cops still did it. They lost the case and I think the boy ended up dying in the hospital, I’m fuzzy on the details since I was told about this when I was around 10. This happened years ago and in another state then where I currently live so I’m not to sure on the full details. but Jesus Christ this world is fucked up
I asked to make a complaint once and the guy who answered the phone said “so you’re upset because he was mean to you?”
Say his name. Muhammad Muhaymin.

If you don't have a mailing address it's very easy to miss a notification to appear in court. Heck my family moved and my mom didn't get a letter that demanded she appear in court due to publix hitting her with a fraudulent check charge...over .20 cents
My mom was taken to the jail and then let go because she's was a white woman with no prior. Though the officer who brought her in treated her like a career criminal and was so proud of himself for "pulling a dangerous criminal off the street ". The head of the department made him apologize to her.
Compare that with this poor gentleman who was killed over the courts systems failure to actually notify people. Something that was out of his control.
Ok, but yeah. I want to work more than 15 hours a week. I genuinely love the challenge with what I do. 15 seems, oddly tiny? Where did this number come from?
This is a good response to that question, in case anyone wanted the q&a paired together. 15 would be the social average — some people might work more, some less, but that would be up to them. This is also presupposing a change in the way the economy effectively functions, in the sense that 15 hours would be the social average for necessary labor, and after that point you’d probably see tons of people participating in “unnecessary” labor out of interest. There’s an idea in socialist theory that basically says once you reach a point far enough along after capitalism you’d just start seeing a blurring of the lines between what’s defined as “work” (or as “a job”) and what’s defined as “a collective activity”, especially with regard to the arts, science, etc.
At the very least, a transition towards (eco)socialism will require a vast shortening of the workweek and a reduction in overall advertising/consumption, whether that mean a 15-hour week or a 20-hour week. The main point is that people are overworked, we can meet everyone’s needs feasibly with less hours anyway, and the over-emphasis on extraction and accumulation (which is in part fueled by a tediously long workweek) is having disastrous effects on the planet. We can both accomodate the needs of the planet AND expand the political horizons for the great majority of the population, but it will require the fundamental defeat of capitalism and the establishment of a new ecological workers’ democracy. It’s a big project, but so worth it in the long run.
The 15-hour week presupposes a change in the economy first. Obviously capitalism requires long hours for people to survive, but in terms of pure stats it’s not necessary for society to be working that much. There’s enough resources for everyone, and so much work is pointless bullshit that only exists to line the pockets of the rich. The ecosocialist project demands a new way of looking at and distributing work. Get rid of the bullshit jobs, divvy up the necessary jobs, and we’d free up people’s time immensely to engage in pursuits they actually want to do to contribute to society.
Also, food and housing and such would be guaranteed in an ecosocialist society anyway, so it goes beyond simply reorganizing work. People have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and those will never be achieved for the great majority in a capitalist society.
These were really good additions so I wanted t add them onto the cumulative post
I want other young people to understand that if the extent of your radical action is posting “eat the rich!” on social media and waiting for somebody to tell you a revolution has started, nothing will change and you’ll get arrested in the Third Red Scare and that’ll be it
What’s the plan?
Join a local trade union and the IWW. Join or start a local tenant’s union. Volunteer with Food Not Bombs and do other mutual aid in your community. Support your local solidarity economy and maker community. Build, fix, and grow stuff. Use free, open-source software and stop letting companies sell your data. Pirate stuff. Break unjust laws. Attend local actions
And most importantly, join radical groups in your area. Strength is found in numbers and none of us can change the world alone. If you need help finding your local movement, DM me and I’ll look around for you so you can start getting stuff done
If you’re younger and can’t join unions or go to protests, you can still do some of the above.
Like as stated above for example, use open source software. Switch from chrome to firefox. Read the terms and conditions.
Shop at antique/thrift/pawn stores and stop buying everything new.
Barter. Exchange services, items, or skills with your peers. Are you 16 and able to drive your friends around? Carpool, and ask that your friends pay you back with food sometime, or teach you a skill that they have. Maybe that band kid is really good at knitting. Learn how to do that.
Never think that your contribution is useless. An ocean is just a multitude of drops.
Also, you can definitely join radical groups and participate in organizing protests and action groups when you’re younger.
There’s always a lot of work to be done and not all of it requires experience, a specific skill set or being legally an adult.
Tons of action groups would absolutely welcome young people and if some don’t, do not take it personally and just try another.
Also, and this is important, even if you don’t find or have access to A Group With A Plan, absolutely nothing stops you from taking individual action on your own time. Does your community have hungry people? Shoplift some bread and balogna, and let them know while you eat together why you did it. Rack some concrete and fill some potholes. Stencil some propaganda. Be the damage you’d like to see on the world.
I was with you until you said fill some potholes… is that something regular people can do?? LOL
But definitely archiving this post.

haha what if we looked up police scanners on broadcastify…..and then updated protestors with the pigs’ locations/plans on twitter with the #[city]scannerduty and #[city]protest tags…….haha just kidding….unless?
Anyways, real talk, this is a really good way to help from home, so here’s https://www.broadcastify.com/ . Make an alt account if ur going to scan. You can find the PD stream for pretty much any major city on here. Keep protestors informed!!!
Also, it’s completely legal to listen to a scanner within your own home, so. There’s that. Not that legality matters lol

The initiative was begun by Ashley Scott and Renee Walters, two Black women who wanted to build a safe space for their own families.
"We needed to create a space and a place where we could be a village, again, a tribe, again," Scott said. "We wanted to create this safe space where we can address our own issues and concerns."

imagine the supernatural season one aesthetic if they were boppin around in a prius
john winchester looks at the coat of dirt on the prius. “dean, i wouldn’t have given you this car if you weren’t going to take care of it.” “dad, everyone knows you buy a prius for the fuel efficiency, not for the appearance.” “you’re right, son, my bad. carry on.”
in the pilot episode, the woman in white takes control of the prius on the bridge but then she realizes she’s in a prius so she softly whispers “this is bullshit. i can never go home.”
sam says “we’ve got work to do” and then steps back so he can close the hatchback
because their lives are so stressful, they choose the soothing sea glass pearl color. who wants to worry about visible clear coat scratches when you’ve got monsters to kill
a semi hits the prius during the season 1 finale but, due to its five star side crash safety rating, dean winchester never enters a coma. season 2 is fundamentally altered.
I don’t even go here, but please tell me more about plot problems that could be solved if they were driving a road safe, fuel efficient, cheaply maintained car.
get you a man who can do both
one of my patients came in for an emergency visit, because she snapped the wire on her retainer watching the movie when MBJ took his shirt off she clenched her teeth so fucking hard she snapped it. that is the fucking funniest shit ever to me this tiny 17 year old girl thirsting so goddamn hard she busted steel
Y'all, it gets better. She found out.
We interviewed her, obviously.
update:
Such a developing story.
I love this story
This was a wild ride from start to finish
I know I say this a lot, But this is one of the best things on this website
Sophia is currently doing great in college, and I still get about one kid a month in the office who asked if this really happened.
This just kept on getting better.
Imperial march played over a compilation of police brutality clips
Better see y'all reblogging this
Almost like this was done of purpose to keep certain groups of ppl from voting
When Black people say that racism is systemic this is what we mean. By being over policed we are in constant danger of being disenfranchised.
Ah the free market at work. (Similar to when I went to CVS to pickup a 90$ prescription and they had their own generic version for 7.99).
This is important! Tell your Friends.
I can’t believe some insurances quit covering them 😐
From Slate:
The generic Adrenaclick will cost $109.99 for two doses, compared with $649.99 for the same amount of drug in an EpiPen. That’s good news, both for financial and safety reasons: STAT reported last year that some parents and institutions had begun filling up syringes with epinephrine as a cost-cutting measure, a DIY solution that could pose great risk to the children who may have eventually needed injections. A more affordable alternative will help ensure safer epinephrine injections.
That’s assuming, though, that the people who need these devices know exactly what to ask for when they’re sitting in their doctors’ offices. Otherwise, they’ll still be stuck with the overpriced product. Here’s why: The mechanism by which Adrenaclick injects the drug is slightly different from EpiPen’s mechanism, so the Food and Drug Administration has ruled that the two are not therapeutically equivalent. That distinction is important because it means a prescription for an EpiPen cannot be filled with Adrenaclick. If you want the cheaper option, you have to have an Adrenaclick prescription.
You must ask your doctor for an Adrenaclick prescription!
I also found a coupon from Impax on 0.15mg and 0.3mg epinephrine injection, USP auto-injectors, which appear to be the generic version of Adrenaclick; these coupons cover up to $100 per pack for 3 packs of these injectors (6 total injectors).
Some customers may be automatically eligible for $100 off the retail price thus only paying $10 for a pack, but this may be good backup for those who for whatever reason do not meet those requirements.
Pass this information on, potentially save a life.
IM SO PROUD?!!!!!!?!!! LIKE WEE MAN IS A FUCKING LEGEND?!!!!!?!!!!!?!
wanted to see a more recent update and

broke: only slash three tires because if you slash all four then insurance will cover it but they won’t cover three (this is literally not true btw and could serve to establish in court that you were slashing their tires to cause maximum financial damage as opposed to an emotional rage)
woke: slash all four tires because fuck em
bespoke: slash two tires diagonally opposite from each other. nobody has more than one spare, it’s impossible to get up on jacks, and trying to drive it will destroy the undercarriage as it rocks back and forth and slams into the ground
true ending: don’t fucking slash tires because they’re under insane amounts of pressure and putting a knife between yourself and an exploding tire is a bad idea. just get a pair of clippers and cut the valve stem to cause an unfixable leak like a normal person
