I know this isn't reddit, but tbh not only have I forgotten my password for it, but I need to vent
So, a little backstory:
Since I was a kid, I had issues breathing, apparently, I had some stuff on my nose that were too big and to make things better, I injured my septum, so for many many years, I could not breathe, hence, doing sports and all I'd get tired fast. So then fast forward a few years and I could get surgery, had my dad's insurance and all, so I got tests done, and my blood would not coagulate fast enough. So I got a little treatment but apparently, it would either not work, or it was hard to get a date for the surgery that would work with the exams taken because those tests were only valid for a small period and so on.
Same loop for many times and I had to study abroad for 2 years, so exams, and shit, and the exams were done on a diff lab, which gave a green light to us, and surgery was done.
As I'm healing from it, I feel I can't breathe through the right side, no air in, no air out, and the doctor barely checks and says it's pretty much how I feel, but then, turns out it scarred that way, and I needed a second surgery to fix it, the little spice on this? I no longer was covered by the insurance. Second surgery went kind of better, can breathe and all, BUUUUUT? there's a little crust that forms daily and clogs it, so I have to constantly pick it to breathe, and it causes me to constantly have issues to breathe.
Fast forward, we on a vacation, and long story short, my mom falls on top of my hand and breaks the fingertip bone on my pinky, and bc we on vacations, all I could do is get it bandaged two days after, when it swole and hurt more (first day just went numb)
Back in my country, I keep having to help around, so it takes like 2 weeks for us to see a doctor, and kind of one more week to get the X rays and the checkup, yup, it's broken, and need to immobilize it so it might weld back, otherwise, surgery. I get the thingy and all, but of course I need to help, so my hand never really rests and when I get the thing off me, the bone is welded and the weird way it looks (doctor words) is "just the way it healed, I'm no hand model after all right? be happy!"
So it keeps annoying me, i can't bend it yet because it's been over a month pretty much not moving, so the second I take the immobilizer off, my mom picks my hand and twists my finger??????
So now, after like almost 6 months after the breaking, another doctor says I need surgery, but it's like a bolt that goes through the bone and my finger will no longer move.
Tomorrow I have the appointment to get the surgery ready because my parents decided I'm having it, and I explode saying I've had a streak of failed procedures, failed healings, and am expected to dive in another one that guarantees I can't move a part of my body anymore? And the response I get? "You always blame us, shut up, I'm tired of listening to you"
AITA?
