i was opening up the nature center and a little wasp flew by while i unlocked the door so i let him out. then i looked down, and there was a spider, a millipede, and two rollie-pollie bugs waiting at the door and they all walked out in a line like they’d been at a party together overnight.

it’s been two weeks and i can’t stop thinking about it.

Pillars and floats like that are pretty stable, compared to regular boats, so there’s even a research vessel, called FLIP, that purposefully capsizes itself to be more steady when conducting research.

that's a sign you are not getting enough rest

when you're well-rested, lying around in bed is boring. you want to get up and do something.

like i get that what is necessary to earn a living and stay housed and fed is not in line with resting as much as your body wants you to but that doesn't mean your body is wrong. like
