so this post has blown up; turns out a lot of people feel the same way I do. If you're feeling conflicted or upset over 4th of July, I've compiled a list of educational resources and charities, both regarding US and international issues, which you can look into if you'd like. Issues here include humanitarian aid to Gaza, Ukraine, and the Caribbean, as well as reproductive, LGBT, BIPOC, and disability rights in the US.

in keeping with tradition, here is a link to unicef's fund for emergency health supplies and services for survivors of the venezuela earthquakes.

here is another link for manos in action, an organization that delivers supplies, such as food and childcare items, to latin american immigrants in central florida. I've participated in one of their local food drives; they're great. if you're not local to central florida, you can always donate money.

He was in a tailored suit, a dark navy that his stylist had said looked amazing on him, and he had taken his word for it.

i have a lot of thoughts on the matter but i will say that fandom moving from semi-private blogs and communities to extremely public and algorithm-driven social media was a huge mistake that has changed fandom culture for the worse

im giving myself heart palpatations imagining hollanov as a couple doing couple things. hollanov buying each other flowers just because. hollanov pushing each other into pools and taking the other with them. making coffee in the morning. creating routines for just the two of them. hate watching bad reality tv but getting weirdly invested. remembering each others likes and dislikes without having to be reminded. buying each other gifts just because they thought of one another. im not a real freak because this is where my true desires lie, not in the painful situationship era.

Hi Sarah, I was wondering if you are still active on RR's Discord, do you still discuss what you are writing about Shane and Ilya? And since the show has been aired has there been a difference about what stories the readers of the books and only the viewers of the show have been writing about in RR's Discord. Are there two different fanfiction channels because the tv show viewers that do not want to read the books but want to write stories from the tv show only? JW

I'm not super active on that server and I don't really talk about what I'm writing in general. I'll occasionally talk about things with other fandom friends but I mostly assume no one really wants to hear about what I'm working on.

Because of that, I'm not really paying that much attention to what people's preferences are in terms of fanfic and what they are or aren't reading.

And as far as I can tell, there's only one channel.
