Got7 reaction. - They find out you're spending your first christmas alone/ away from your family.
It was early November still but JB wanted to get a head start on his christmas shopping for his parents. He had messaged you that morning begging you to go shopping with him to help him pick something out for his mum, convincing you that he needed your excellent taste because she 'always hates' what he picks. So you agree reluctantly. In all honesty you just wanted to skip over this part of the year. You had been living in Seoul for the past 8 months and the cost of going home was way too much for you too afford so you were feeling rather down about your first christmas alone, knowing JB was going home too meant you felt extra alone. After an hour or so looking around a rather expensive boutique you were looking in a display cabinet filled with delicate jewellery. "What about these earings?" You called over to him. He approached looking over what you had found. "My mum would love them, yours would too." You assured him. "Yeah, they are perfect." He nodded in agreement, signaling to the sales rep that he wanted those. "Have you done your shopping yet?" He asked you innocently. Your head dropped slightly. "No, I'm not seeing my family this year." You admitted. He placed his hand on your arm, drawing your attention back to his face. "Well you're not gonna be alone right? I'm not letting you be alone for Christmas." His words were stern and you felt bad, as though you were forcing him to pity you. But he didn't feel that way. His feelings for you were always very clear, he had even told his parents about his feelings for you. He took out his phone and messaged his parents to let them know you would be visiting them with him this holiday season.
"You're gonna be with me and my family, okay. And no you're not intruding. However, it does now mean you need an ugly sweater for dinner." He laughed lightly dragging you to the clothing department.
"Where are we going?" You asked as you zoned back in to the drive you and Mark were on. You had just been out for dinner and half way though got a text from your parents explaining they couldn't travel to see you this year for Christmas. You kind of knew it was coming as there were things at home they needed to be there for, but it still made you feel pretty down. And Mark noticed your attitude change, of course he asked what happened but you just brushed it off saying it was nothing. "You seem down, I just wanna cheer you up a lil bit, love." He smiled, looking at you briefly, taking a hand and placing it on your leg reassuringly. You looked back out of your window without another word. Mark, although a little disheartened he kept driving. He knew that if he took you out of the city and to all the richer houses in the suburbs they would have amazing Christmas lights and decorations, and his thinking is that Christmas will spark joy, as it does with almost everyone. He pulled up outside one of the houses and turned the engine off you looked out of the windshield and saw all of the lights and decorations twinkling and really steaming Christmas magic. "What do you think? Christmas always cheers me up." Mark asked turning to look at you properly. He did not expect to see a tear roll down your face and then you finally let out all the sadness you were feeling. "Shit, oh god I'm so sorry." He panicked pulling your into him, hugging you tightly. When you calmed slightly you explained the message you received and it all made sense to him.
"Well I was gonna spend my Christmas with the dogs watching hallmark Christmas films, you are more than welcome to spend it with me." He whispered kissing the top of your head repeatedly.
Christmas markets were a great date and you were just coming to terms with being alone this year. So the day before Jinyoung left for his family christmas you both decided to go for a walk around the stalls, see the lights and get hot chocolate. Everything was amazing, the smells from all the food vendors, the soft christmas music playing amongst the crowds. You sipped at your hot chocolate before looking over at Jinyoung to see him doing the same, the only difference was that his glasses fogged up from the steam causing you to laugh at him, gaining his attention. He grinned widely at you as they de-missted. He took your hand tightly pressing a kiss to your knuckles. "I'm gonna miss you whilst I'm gone." He laughed lightly. Your head fell slightly. "I was just thinking that same thing." You sighed softly. "Well you and your flatmates have plans, right?" He asked, releasing your hand and instead wrapping his arm around your shoulders. "Oh no, ones going home and the other is going to a work thing." You answered. "But it's cool. I'm gonna sleep in and watch a film." You added looking up to him with a weak smile. "Are you sure that's what you want to do?" He was concerned that you felt abandoned. He had assumed you had plans and that was why he hadnt asked you to join him. You nodded. He kissed you passionately, pulling you closer to him. "I can stay if you want me to. Or you can come with me, my parents wont mind, they love you." He offered. You thought for a moment but before you answered he already knew.
"Let's head home so you can sort your stuff out."
Jackson was fully aware how you would usually have a huge family christmas back home with your family, but he hadn't asked your plans for this year, assuming that you would be travelling home again. He was planning on working over christmas this year, as he himself couldn't travel home due to scheduling.
It was the 23rd and you were texting Jackson about your plans for the day. That's when it clicked with him, when were you leaving??
"Hey, babe. When are you flying home? Tonight?"
"I'm not. I cant fly back this year. What about you?"
As you read it your whole mood picked up, you went from feeling alone to having a slight hope that you and Jackson could finally spend the holidays together.
"Can I come round? I'll bring my work with me. You get the Netflix I'll get the snacks" he messaged again. You grinned at your phone and hurried to get everything slightly straightened out before he arrived.
Here you were helping Youngjae decorate his house, you guys had finished wrapping presents the day before and today it was time to put up all of the decorations. His family were staying at his this year and he wanted it to be perfect. So of course he went a little overboard with garlands, wreaths and all sorts of other festive decor. But you were now putting the tree up, his favourite part.
He was assembling the structure whilst you watched happily from the kitchen, where you stood making hot chocolates for your both. He was singing along happily to the christmas songs playing. You grinned and laughed as he got a little mad about the tree not cooperating, walking back in and handing him his drink he just grinned widely at you.
"It sucks you can't stay here with me, my family would love to have you here you know?" He stated wrapping his right arm over your shoulders. You looked down, a little sad.
"I actually could, my flight got cancelled and I haven't been able to book another one yet." You admitted. He turned to face you a little to gage what you were thinking.
"Theres always room. Plus youu did all the hard work preparing Christmas here, it wouldn't feel right for me to take all the credit." He chuckled. You nodded.
"Okay, that sounds fun." You smiled, sipping your hot chocolate whilst still looking him in the eye. He grinned again and sipped his own drink.
"Right let's get this finished then. So my star can put a star on the top of the tree." His cheesy line made you cringe slightly, his only response was to kiss you softly, smiling into it.
With that you gave in and placed your drink down before opening the box of tree decorations and throwing a bauble to him to start the tree off with.
He knew you were struggling this year with not being able to go home for the holidays because of your schedule so he made sure he was available whenever you needed him, infect he has spent weeks asking you 'random' questions so he knew just what you loved to do around the holidays and how he could try to cheer you up and help de-stress you.
You had just finished work and Bam had messaged you asking you to go round to his apartment. Although you were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed he urged that it was important so you made sure to head there as quick as possible when you clocked out.
As you opened the door you heard him in the kitchen, you put down your jacket and bag and headed through to meet him. He was stood looking rather confused at the box instructions infront of him and that made you laugh a little.
"Hey, I kinda messed up the cookies I was trying to make but I got us matching christmas pjs, a fluffy blanket and I found some really cheesy christmas movies. How about we go cuddle and dont move until work tomorrow." He chuckled, gesturing to the living room. You nodded and followed him to the sofa where he had a bag with fluffy pjs and socks in.
"And I was thinking, if you're not doing anything with your friends Christmas day, we could make some food together and Skype your family." He suggested, hugging you tightly from behind you. Your stressed and tense body relaxed into his touch as he kissed your cheek softly.
"That sounds perfect, Bam. Thank you." You nodded happily.
Yugyeom was aware of how weird you were finding Christmas away from home for the first time and he was very wary of bringing the topic up incase of upsetting you. But now it was nearing the day and he knew he couldn't avoid raising it.
So, whilst you were working he studied holiday baking. He made lists of ingredients and spent his day shopping and preparing the kitchen. He let you know that he had plans for the both of you so you headed straight home. You found him smiling at the door, and that was suspicious enough.
"What are you doing?" You chuckle pushing past him into the house.
"I found all your favourite holiday treat recipes and we are gonna try to make them together." He beamed, stating his plan. You smiled at him softly knowing he was doing this to cheer you up, and seeing all the effort he went to alone did just that.
"Let me change first." With that you kissed his cheek and hurried to get into more comfortable clothes.
"I thought we could do this ans then we will have nice treats to eat Christmas day, here." He explained, trailing off at the end, waiting to sense your reaction. You didn't give one.
You finished changing and opened your bedroom door to be faxed to face with him. You wrapped your arms around him and he returned the action.
You could only mutter out a 'thank you' as he pulled away ans slowly led you back to the kitchen.
