i realized that i’m scared to write now. it’s been a while since i felt connected with the younger me - who used to journal all the time, and often rip it apart later; who used to spill her heart out even though no one was listening... the girl with so much soul and pain and wasn’t afraid to show it.

i think i need to start again, because i have so many emotions harbored inside of me, that i never have a chance to truly reflect on. so much pain and hurt blocked by my responsibilities, my drive to succeed and to accomplish things in life, when i really need to take a step back and understand myself, my values, my wants... setting those boundaries because without them, i will never truly build relationships and friendships with those i care about the most.

i guess i’m back, but i don’t think anyone’s here. and i’m okay with that, because at least this is a space where i can truly feel.
