hello 👋 my name is love.

my pronouns are they/she, and i'm a queer writer in my early twenties from brisbane, australia.

i write primarily short poems that dabble with topics of love, relationships, grief, trauma, mental health, chronic illness, the seasons, or anything i'm feeling in particular in that passage of time. i try to write and post my best pieces as regularly as i can.

writing has always been an important aspect of my identity. i have found that in all the different stages of my life, in all the things that flow in and out and all the things i've lost, writing has been what i have been loyal to. it is the place where i feel most honest, open, safely vulnerable, and most importantly it is where i feel most creative. i have a lot of favourite authors that inspire me to write but ultimately i write for myself.

i hope that anyone who comes across my content, finds that the words speak to them and represent their feelings in a way that they've been searching for. for me; a great piece of writing is a piece that allows something that was once incommunicable to be communicated.

i do not have any published books, yet. but this is an ambition of mine. everything i share here on tumblr is my original work, if you would like to share it somewhere else please make sure it includes credit.

what a beautiful feeling it is to finally get over someone and realize that it was your adoration of them that made them so special. without that, they’re quite basic. just proof that the magic lives in you, not them.
