eventually, when no hit or venom was spit his way, Match's hands drop to rest at his sides, though his ttk did spread into a sort of air cushion around him should any violence break out. yellow pupil-less eyes watch the other just as carefully as he's being watched in return, brows furrowed as he waited for the other shoe to drop.
at the quiet admission, Match lets go of the breath he'd been unknowingly holding, his ttk dissipating from around him as relief flooded his veins. there's a small smile on his lips, " Thank you. " he said, a hand going to brush through his curly hair nervously,
" I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to feel that way. " he placates again, feeling like its the only thing he can do now after leading Tim on like he had. the compliments have him blushing a little, a soft dusting of lavender on his cheeks,
" I… Thank you. " he mutters, his blush getting a little darker and spreading to his ears. he always liked being told he was being nice, especially when it involved Kon. He liked being a good brother, after being such a horrible one before.
" I'm sure Kon will make it up to you once he gets back. He's always good at that. " he says with an almost shy smile, though it falls rather quickly at the next question. he wrings his hands anxiously, but he decided to be truthful,
" I… I don't like how I look, so I make myself look like Kon to avoid the stares. " he starts, voice soft but still audible over the wind, " I've never seen the tower before so I wanted to take a look. " he says, before taking a breath,
" I think… I've been to the tower before though, and that's why I was staring. I remembered being there, and some people… I was fighting them, but it's blurry. " he lets out a soft laugh, " That's weird, right? "
