Neither of them knew how they had ended up in this situation, they had ended up on a crumbling skyscraper. The battle raging below them threatened to send the building to kingdom come.

Izuku watches as his childhood friend began to lose his hold on the roof, his orders left his mind as he ran toward the ledge. The green haird teen held a hand out to Bakugo, “Grab my hand! I can pull you up!”

The blode grit his teeth at the sight in front of him, “I don’t need help from a flea like you!”

then Izuku’s whole demeanor changed, years of physical and mental abuse taking their toll. He stood up straight and held his fists out at his sides, “When you last saw me I was bullied and you threatened to kill me.”

Tears began to slide down his cheeks, “I met someone, he said that a hero can’t be someone who does evil in the name of good.” He let out a shakey breath. A loud explosion echoed from the ground below, causing bakugo to glance down.

“I AM NOT A FLEA!” Izuku yelled through gritted teeth. Lightning began to flow around his body and he brought a fist back, ready to send bakugo over.

A tear fell from the teens chin, and his knees hit the ground. A loud scream pushed itself up from his throat.

He couldn’t do it. he couldn’t. It wasn’t heroic! Neither is bakugo. Why should it matter! He can’t. WHY CAN’T HE!!!

Several footsteps grew closer to him. “Don’t worry young one, it’s always hard the first time.” An artificial voice began.

Trump declared a national state of emergency (for no reason) so until a lawsuit goes through or congress votes to stop it (both of those take time) the USA is at Trump’s mercy even more than usual.

It’s not the most dramatic situation but the president does have a lot of power now and Trump’s dictatorial tendencies are on full display. Don’t let anybody forget about this one. He misused his power to try and get past congress and the wishes of the American people to get his xenophobic wall built. He’s likely going to take funds away from FEMA, thereby screwing over citizens of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and other territories still suffering from hurricane damage as well as victims of the California wildfires.

An hour passed as he descended into a valley, one named after preservation. He hoped it was right.

His helmet began to beep, “Your here boss, it’s right underneath you.”

Tony lifted his suits gauntlet and began to send the sand away from his target. A smile overtook his face as he laid eyes on the optics of the rover he was searching for.
