The line from the Wicked: For Good trailer, "Just look at me...not with your eyes but theirs" is gonna skyrocket between ships that can relate. Like it's so Narusasu coded, even Xena x Gabrielle coded. I see many fanfics formulating from this line alone in ships and I will be reading.

Like can you imagine Sasuke saying something like this to Naruto when they meet at the valley of the end after the war??

One of the things that's keeping me up at night is if Wicked: For Good will add the background assemble to sing "Goodness knows the wicked lives are lonely, Goodness knows." All while Elphaba tells Glinda to hide and prepares for her "death". Cause you can hear it when you look up the wicked musical melting scene. The song, "For Good" is a good song that brings you to tears. Although, hearing the soft singing of "No one mourns the wicked" while Elphaba and Glinda depart again sets up as the last time they see each other again. As Elphaba will forever be known as the wicked witch despite her and Glinda knowing the truth.

🔮 Wicked Ramble 🔮

It’s an unexpected Daddy’s little girl to I hate my father (and he’s apiece of shit) pipeline less than a day. The Wizard was acting weirdly paternal towards Elphaba and suggested she would stay with him as there’s a small cutscene where he’s looking at her and almost (to me) feels like he sees a little of her mother in her. We don’t know how well he got to know her mother outside of sexual intercourse. He might even had a slight suspicion but her green skin is a factor to him not instantly knowing. The Wizard himself does the most Dad thing he can do without knowing Elphaba was his daughter, and that was to try to convince her to stay by letting Glinda stay with her at the castle. It's just like a Dad trying to bribe his daughter by getting her a pony if she does this one thing he wants her to do. THEN, he disappoints her when she realizes he is just a man. He's not a powerful wizard who can't help people with their desires, but one who created a movement to paint Animals as the “bad guy” in Oz. It’s like when daughters see through the veil of Dad being a “hero” and couldn’t do no wrong until seeing how much he’s not and he’s just a man and disappoint you. When Elphaba doesn’t comply to do what he wanted and rebel against him and madam morrible’s plan, they paint her as the wicked witch. Just like fathers who are ready to banish, reject, and paint their daughters as whores, sluts, a bitch, and every name under the sun if she doesn’t comply to what HE wants for her.

I watched Wicked (twice) as I’m so happy that it’s finally out and for people to have a fun time watching it from cinematography, costume design, special effects, the soundtrack itself ✨ and all. I’ve been waiting for months to see it after watching the slime tutorial of the musical and read the book. It’s even better to know that Act 2 is on the way for next year and there’s a few pictures for what’s to come from it.

I blame myself for watching and studying different actresses and actors singing and acting out the songs in Wicked Act 2. I’ve been and still is obsessing over some of the songs cause it’s just too good. My main problem is how I just switch out Fiyero and insert an y/n (lesbian). Like Im so deep in the trenches that I listen to “As long as you’re mine” with a butch x femme couple singing it or Elphaba x y/n (lesbian). As for the “FIYERO” note in “No Good Deed” I switch out the “o” and add in “a” or change the name completely while listening to the song.

I say this because I do have to realize it is Elphaba and Fiyero singing a song together and I don’t actually wrap my head around these two as a couple. To me, I don’t get enough of their development as a romantic couple, let alone as friends. The same kinda goes for Gelphie but they showed more of their bond in the musical and movie. It is up to people to see them as friends or more than friends but they didn’t see it themselves as more than friends. That is another topic for another day. The main point of the story that it is Elphaba story about how she branded as the wicked witch, and the topic of wickness being born or thrust upon based on circumstances. So, the romantic aspects of the story aren’t fleshed out onstage or in the book for that matter. I just hope in Act 2, Elphaba does fake her death and the ending of her and Fiyero leaving together is slightly changed because what was the point of Elphaba’s activism and protest for the Animals if she was just gonna run off with Fiyero?

Yes, Elphaba pushes it onto Glinda to set things right and let herself take the fall of being the wicked witch. Glinda ends up being the one in charge and tells what she wants to the citizens despite knowing the truth. It still doesn’t change automatically that the Animals won’t longer be oppressed and discriminated against. It’s like you take down a few people (Oz and Madam Morrible) but who’s to say another person is not working to continue fearmongering of a “bad guy” in Oz and all the land? I hope they do work on that in Act 2 because it doesn’t become much focus in the musical.

It’s something about artists who draw characters who are evidently black or person of color with brown-skin that draw them vaguely grey, peach-skinned, or just white that I don't like. I know if I wanted the character to be accurately then I should do it myself and I could. However, if you as an artist who does fanart draw these characters that look nothing like them or even bother to find a better reference to improve then why bother drawing them?

Its even worse when people even give you some feedback to draw black characters and characters of color correctly and your pathetic excuse is to explain the lighting in the reference photo you used was the reason why you drew them white, grey, or peach-skinned…….

It gets tiring seeing time and time again black and characters of color have fanart that looks nothing like them and sometimes have their physical features erased. It’s happening again with Cynthia Ervo’s Elphaba from Wicked and she was still right about being erased.

Everyone is worried about "Defying Gravity" for the wicked movie, I don't think anyone is talking much about "No good deed" which I know wouldn't even take place until part 2 of the movie but I truly love seeing the anguish, distress that some actresses put into singing the song. Especially, in that last bit after the iconic "Fiyero" note.

I’m watching old WWE (( WWF at the time)) on Peacock and I don’t know if it’s been addressed already, but the closest the fans have experienced a real-life Lestat De Lioncourt is through Shawn Michaels.

I want Sevika and Jinx to actually team up as Sevika becomes like an older sister/Aunt to Jinx because Vi is no longer family just like everyone else wants them to bond. But my thing is would we get the sisterly bond between them because Jinx did end Silco AND it's a high chance that Sevika will die this season. Like idk if I can handle a potential family member that Jinx becomes close to just for her to lose AGAIN. I'm not ready to lose my wife sevika

I thought this moment between Nell and Polly was cute especially after Nell close to dying from a press cause she didn’t want to fight a lady. She’s so nice because she’s practically saying the ass whoopings are for the bad men 🤷‍♀️. Then, Polly gets a job as the new editor because of her writing of Nell’s eyes being a guide for lost souls. Small wins for everyone ✨

Lisa Frankenstein 🧟‍♂️💖

I truly love Lisa Frankenstein for many reasons. From Taffy actually making the effort to include Lisa in the their family and her social group despite being the popular cheerleader. We don't see that much in movies as it is refreshing to see that in a character who wants to be more than what social role she fits into and caring for her step-sister. As for the step-mom, Janet was the one who needed help and took every opportunity to blame Lisa for anything. She most definitely projected the "wanting attention" onto Lisa cause she brings it up almost every conversation as you can see she does her little theatrics in front of Dale and Dale gives her that attention and less for Lisa.

*I found it ironic how the creature was wearing a shirt that says "Violent Femmes" on it as they chuck out a worm in Janet's bowl then murdered Janet with a sewing machine, and stole her ear.

*Most of the boys and men in this movie suck and perverted. From Dale being a negligent father to Lisa but supportive of Taffy, Lisa's boss is a weird perv who commented on her "flat chest," Doug being the "Nice guy" who's downright terrible and could've SA'd Lisa, That bigot old man who started a fight with the creature, and Michael Trent who is a loser.

*The outfits in this movie was so fitting for the time that it takes place in. It doesn't feel forced (?) If that makes sense whenever a movie or tv show takes place in the 80s.

*I wonder if Lisa ever re-drew that lighting on her hand cause she has it on her hand throughout the movie. And, if Lisa continues to raid Taffy's closet for clothes then it's correct to assume she also lends Taffy's clothes to the creature?? The pj's Lisa wore were cute especially the cowboy one.

*Lisa gets on the creature for murder and how the car they were in is probably tracked yet hardly cover up the blood stain on the carpet?? Plus she's so aware of knowing the things they did is wrong but not entirely sorry for it.

*Her speech to Michael totally made sense cause I'm sure people knew a guy who is exactly what Lisa was talkin about and that does make them a loser.

*I love how the creature wasted no time to cut off some peen as they turned up the music, slashed, and collected what was needed before going on their merry way.

* Also the creature is most definitely trans and Lisa was very understanding to tell them that pretty much peen is not the only way to feel satisfied during sex 🏳️‍⚧️

*Cole sprouse really nails on showing the creature yearning for Lisa especially when they're back at the cemetery.

*Hand kisses 💋 💖💖👌 as the sex scene  surprisingly doesn't feel cringe or uncomfortable to watch like some intimate scenes in movies.

*Using a tanning bed as a way to bring life into the creature is an interesting concept as does a reverse and "kills" Lisa. Plus she just has bad luck with electricity, the girl gets shocked using the "back massager."

This movie was just overall fun to watch 💋

I'm surprised nobody really noted how Xena yearns for Gabrielle especially in Season 3 and seasons after. Like this woman was so ready to ditch the whole "greater good" path for the sake of saving her dying "Friend." Gabrielle accepted she was gonna die, but Xena said "Hell No" and decided to stick it out for whatever to come. THEN, in family affair (s4 x epi 3) she was so happy and hugging Gabrielle (who was really Hope at first) that her face showed so much relief and almost wanting to cry cause she thought she lost her best friend forever. Then, the real Gabrielle showed up and she was still happy and kissed her hand as to being so relieved that Gabrielle is real and alive. Honestly, it is Lucy and Renee's chemistry that they were able to show us how Xena and Gabrielle's relationship grows overtime.

Idk I just love noticing the small things that Xena and Gabrielle do for each other and let themselves be vulnerable and often romantic with their words.
