Thorin’s duties as King under the Mountain require him to read hundreds of boring inventory ledgers regarding iron ore, stone shipments, and grain taxes. To help him get through the exhausting work, Bilbo starts leaving tiny, hidden doodles and notes in the margins of the official books before they reach the King’s desk. Bilbo draws little fat Hobbits, pipes with smoke rings, or leaves of ivy, accompanied by short phrases in his neat handwriting. Thorin’s ministers are often baffled as to why the gruff, stern King suddenly smiles and grows incredibly soft-spoken while reviewing a dry report on plumbing logistics

Well, this brings Azog’s hatred for dwarves to another level of… I can’t even. “To further display his hatred of Dwarves, the lower loincloth Azog wears about his waist is made with the skinned faces of dead Dwarf foes. Over time, the skin has aged, becoming dark brown and stretched, giving an eerie impression of the faces screaming in horror and pain.” (x)

him and bilbo in bed and he just like puts his hand on bilbos belly and makes eye contact with bilbo and bilbo just "you can't get me pregnant thorin" and thorin sighs and bilbos just "it's not genetically possible thorin" and thorin under his breath is like "i'll find a way"

Whilst looking up reference for Thorin’s boots I discovered that his toecaps have heart-shaped smiley faces on them.  Seriously.  This is what Thorin sees on his boots whenever he looks down.
