if Humpty Dumpty ever stopped being in danger then he would lose his identity & go insane
many of you seem to live like this
“your rent should be a third of your income” well wouldn’t that be nice. wouldn’t it. lower the rent pussy
Casual observation from someone old enough to remember: in the year 2000 financial advice was that rent should be no more than 1/4 of your income.
Until the mid 80s, the advice was that if you must rent instead of owning, then that 20% of your monthly income (oh yes, only 20%) should include all your utilities too.
After all, rent costs more than a mortgage, so it should offer more too.
The housing market is a fucking travesty.
Hmm what happened in the mid eighties....
Scientific fraud is the most baffling thing ever to me like do they think they're just going to make a huge breakthrough and no one will notice that it's fake by trying to replicate their results
Yeah actually I just discovered how to turn plastic into gold. Oh you want to know how I did it
Starts running away cutely
It’s protect and love black women until it’s time for a Chr*s Br*wn concert. Yall make me sick.
Reddit post: Hey I'm thinking about pursuing this career does anyone have any advice for my path?
Comments: This job is hell my life is hell don't do it. I wake up every morning for work and hold a gun to my head while doing deep breathing exercises. Find a time machine and go back to 1979 if you even want a chance of getting a position. Prepare to move 5000 miles away. You will be paid one penny per hour for the first 15 years and your days will be 12 hours long at minimum. Being dead is better than doing this profession
all i want for 2026 is that gigantic rancid AI bubble to finally burst in such a catastrophic way that the consequences will be so good and i'll never have to see another AI generated image ever again

Despite making no deliberate efforts to engage with his coworker beyond the point of pleasant acquaintance, Eric Phipps said Thursday he was astonished to discover he had inadvertently forged a personal bond with fellow web developer Michael Jenkins.
Phipps, 31, told reporters that the interactions with his coworker, which for two years had been confined to job-related matters and breezy small talk, first took an unplanned turn toward authentic friendship this past March. According to Phipps, he and Jenkins happened to leave the office at the same time one day and decided to kill half an hour at a nearby bar before heading off to separate evening engagements.

I read this article the other day about how adults are able to attend online colleges and finish their bachelor's degrees in a couple of months, sometimes weeks.
This is because these are competency based learning schools where all students have to do is complete an exam or a project in order to pass. These colleges are also a lot cheaper than traditional university and because it is online a lot more accessible.
As someone who attends one of these colleges, I will say its not perfect but it is accredited and I am learning a lot more than I would without it. I have seen some discourse on reddit about this and whether the degrees are "valid" but that's mainly in a subreddit dedicated to my school. I do wanna know the opinions of a non-biased group so I decided to come here because people on reddit can be a lot..
What do you think of these online competency based schools?
I'm in favor of them
I'm not in favor of them

Please reblog and explain in the tags. I am actually interested in this. Also I will answer questions about my experience so far. I am in my 2nd term and I plan to finish by the end of the year.
