The bone knight walks an endless maze of moss and stone. Once the celebrated hero who saved the world, but now nothing more than a walking husk of his former self. As he wanders he remembers a better time, at home with his loving family. They're all dead now, slaughtered in a terrible war. He wishes that he could see them again, even for just a moment, but he also knows that this is an impossible task. This is the tale of the knight of bone, once the pride of his people, reduced to a story people tell while sat by the fire.

Welcome to The Podling Tavern!

The Podling Tavern is a collective of dedicated fans of Jim Henson’s masterpiece, The Dark Crystal! We run a Discord server and a fanzine! We hope to unite the fan base, and wake our ancient fandom from its long slumber!

Our zine isn’t just an e-zine, we also print physical copies and distribute them in our local communities! You are welcome to print copies of your own and put them wherever you think fans might find them, such as at libraries, collectible stores, and comic stores (with permission from the establishment, of course).
