I think the Cat and Wizard decks have merits, I just noticed a very low amount of appearance at the kitchen tables, shops and MTGO games I witnessed. Not to mention, others around me expressing the same things.

I think more tribes should be the attention they gave out last year, allow for more archetypes.

Markhov was a mistake from a purely casual viewpoint. Hes so oppressive that if you cant force the Markhov player into top deck mode they just rebuild to efficiently. Its not format warping in its entirety, but when everyone pulls out the same Markhov deck you just played against, it leaves you ready for an early night of magic. I dont even see the other emmince commanders. The dragon has even left the meta scene here, but not Markhov everyone has that in their povket it seems. If not him, its Oloro or Meren

I hate when people who are jerks to other people who are new to magic.

I just heard someone tell someone else that their deck is so shitty that they should just get rid of it and forced them to play with one of their own decks that is “far superior”.

This is why people are scared to go play games at card shops and with new people. You were new once too, just help them.

you should always be helpful & kind to every player, ESPECIALLY new players. when I started playing mtg again after a long break I still had close to no clue how to play, even less how to build a deck. I built a super janky Mistform deck, it was super bad and revolved around playing Peer Pressure. I went to a few LGS and most people would tell me that it was shit and to play standard/modern instead since the format was far better. In one LGS though someone looked at my deck and told me about a Mistform card that would fit really well in it, as well as suggested some cheap removal spells that fit the flavour and would make it better. This is the LGS that I kept going to. Being nice to new players will completely shape their experience of the game and too many new players turn away from the game because of jerks.

My collection of masterpieces is pretty solid. Predominantly must of these are in my Tokens EDH deck. Ive lucked into pulling a few and trading for the rest at some decent value. A few were picked up with store credit I had from selling off some bulk stuff I didn’t need.

Crazy prediction.... flip gods! Start out as mortal creatures turn into enchantment creature god. The pack of with the cat looking god and the priestess esque women next to it. The women could turn into the god!

Opened a scroll rack masterpiece today out of a box. Well yesterday rather. The box aside from that actually was not to bad. Hit the big three on mythic and some decent other stuff. Deff not worth it if I would not have opened the scroll rack though...

It’s sad, I’ve really enjoyed the concept of the format. Too bad it didn’t pick up as much as it could’ve, it’s pretty fun and interesting.

I feel like it’s cause the tournaments were so crazy competitive. I remember I went to an LGS for a fun little Tiny Leaders tournament in Kansas City, and the very first match someone killed me with Thespians Stage/Dark Depths on T2. Turns out it’s as ridiculous as competitive commander :/

To be honest, it’s closer to Legacy than it is to EDH.

Yea Tiny Leaders just devolved into vintage/legacy lite. There was just no way to keep it from happening without banning 3/4 the cards lol. Also when you make a format with less then 60 cards; a mana curve of three, and access to 100% easy mana fixing, how can it not just be the fastest format and most competitive format around.

I pulled my first masterpiece. The sword of light and shadow. I didn't pull any expeditions and had to trade for the ones I do have. I traded for the solemn and scroll rack right before I pulled the sword. It was a good day of kaledesh inventions for me.
