jihoon didn’t tell you the location of your honeymoon he insisted that it be a surprise
all he did was tell you to bring clothes for a summery location
you were pestering him from the day he told you he brought the tickets
to your first dance at your wedding
all the way till now- the entrance of the airport
“have faith in me, y/n! you married me didn’t you?”
he chuckled lightly at your response and ruffled your hair
“would I really get a crappy honeymoon location?”
he’d jokingly walk away and tell you to enjoy your honeymoon on your own
“noo! I’m just excited and I want to know, don’t go!” you whined
-you’ll find out as soon as we have to board the plane, patience, love.“
"I can’t believe I married a big baby.” he said, poking your cheek
“I can’t believe I let you chose our honeymoon destination!”
he shook his head and grabbed your hand, walking with you through the airport.
after getting your passports checked and all that good stuff, you headed toward your gate
(ajdjdn I’ve only been to the airport like once a long time ago I’m so sorry if this isn’t accurate at all)
“flight 347 from Seoul to Bora Bora boarding now.” was heard through the intercom system.
“that’s us!!” jihoon spoke cheerfully, springing up from his chair.
“no way! what?!” you exclaimed, turning to face jihoon.
“bora bora?!” your face was shining with excitement
“surprise?” he giggled at your reaction, accepting your hug joyfully when you opened your arms and ran into him.
“i love you. thank you.” You spoke into his chest.
his heart was full at that moment. he was so worried you wouldn’t like it
so a happy you means a happy jihoon!!
with you falling asleep on jihoon’s shoulder
leaving him a flustered mess despite already being married
he just found you so cute
he moved the hair out of your face and smiled at you
once you landed, you excitedly turned to jihoon
“i can’t believe we’re here!! thank you so much for this, jihoon.”
your voice softened and your eyes looked up at his with nothing but love
he thought about his past and how lonely he had felt
struggling to make his dream come true
now he was happily in love and married and surrounded by 12 other guys that he loved and loved him
he took your hand in his own and pressed a kiss to it
“don’t thank me, love. you deserve this.”
with that, you got off the plane and were met with the bright sun
-fast forward to arriving at your hotel!!
he was cheesy and booked the honeymoon suite
as you walked into your room, he stood behind you nervously
anticipating your reacion
“jihoooonn!” you squealed excitingly
“this is so beautiful. i love it. i can’t believe you did all this for me!”
“we’re spending the rest of our lives together, aren’t we? i have to do something to make sure you don’t get sick of me, don’t i?”
fast forward again whoooossh
-you and jihoon decided to visit the beach near your hotel
you had packed plenty of snacks and towels and were ready to spend all day at the beach
once you arrived, you marveled at its beauty
jihoon was proud he had picked such a beautiful location
-you wanted to dive into the crystal blue water of the ocean as soon as you arrived
jihoon on the other hand,,,was absolutely opposed to the idea
“do you know how cold its going to be!!!” he whined
“okaaayy..but its hot outside so it’ll even out!”
he sighed and pouted at you
you pouted right back and looked at him with pleading eyes
dramatic sigh “I guess I’ll just go on my own,,”
you began to walk towards the ocean slowlyyy
you felt arms around your waist as you made your way further into the water
“you wanted to go swimming, so we’re going all the way!!”
that was the last thing you heard before jihoon pushed you into the water
you heard his giggles as you came back up, hair soaking wet and a look of playful anger in your eyes
“oh you’re so going to get it!”
he ran away from you as best as he could in the water but you weren’t going to let him get away that easily
“ow!!” you screamed out, making jihoon turn around quickly with worried eyes
you pushed him into the water, triumphant laughter soon following
when jihoon came back up, he frowned at you
“ i thought you hurt yourself!” he pouted
“sorry?” you pressed a kiss to his cheek
“i have to admit that was pretty good.” he chuckled at you, his hands finding their place around your waist, pulling you in for a kiss
“newlyweds. remeber when we were like that?” you both pulled apart from your kiss, blushing as you heard the words from the older couple
“we’re still like that.” the other half of the couple said
you and jihoon smiled at each other, finding them cute
“i hope we’ll be like that one day.” you say, your eyes on the elderly couple
we will be.“ he spoke, his eyes on you. always on you.
the day stretched on, with plenty more water fights, snack breaks, and burying each other in the sand
as the sun started to set, jihoon stood up from your shared spot on the sand and offered his hand to you
"let’s take a walk, babe.”
you smiled at him and took his hand as you walked together in comfortable silence, the gentle breeze of the sea filling the space in between the both of you, both your hearts felt absolutely content
“the sky looks so beautiful.” you spoke
looking at you, jihoon couldn't agree more
