If you've been seeing my posts lately you already know one of my babies isn't doing well. Shellby is very ill but is receiving treatment and I'll see to it that she gets all better. However this sort of thing is expensive, so I'm posting a kofi shop this week to help. If you are able to and feel like leaving a tip we'd be very grateful, but also within the week I'll be opening the shop and selling jewelry I've made and possibly commissions too.

Six Sentence Sunday

Hellloooo. I realized that I should 1) be writing more and 2) interact with people more. I'm a stubborn, grumpy introvert, but I think I should change that. I followed a few people back and I'm starting to interact more! it'll be a process, though--I'm bad at socializing! :')

Anyways, other than that, I started writing yesterday! My current WIP takes place during the two week Silvergrove gap in s7. Ethari brings Runaan to meet a special friend of his, and Runaan has some gratitude to give.

“It’s okay! I’ve been busy—today’s my first day off in a while. What’s up?” She gently took his hands in hers, helping to ground him when his guilt had threatened to carry him away. Her fingers closed around his, carefully tugging him into the house. Taken aback by her softness, he let himself be pulled inside. Her warm brown eyes inspired tenderness in him, and it didn’t take much until he found himself smiling down at her.

I had no word count in mind for this, but it's currently at 1.6k! pretty cool!

I've been considering (for a while, now) writing a chaptered fanfic (serialized or not) about the 2 week gap Ruthari and Rayllum spend together in the Silvergrove. I have ideas in mind, especially when I factor in my oc's. it'd be a fun project for sure! I just need to get started, and I think if I just do one individual chapter at a time, it might make it easier and less daunting.

speaking of which, I want to write a chapter that parallels the one above where Ethari thanks Rayla (and Callum, but mostly Rayla) for rescuing Runaan. I'm so glad I'm at a place where I finally have ideas; I feel like I'm exercising my creativity even if it doesn't always end up as a story on paper. I have @that-crippled-princess to thank for that!

I've mostly been writing scripts lately, but believe it or not I havent ditched Send Him Flowers, I have a handful of chapters sitting in my drafts waiting to be finalized... So here's something from chapter 9!

“Is it too late to confess I’m no good with goodbyes?” He flashed a helpless smile despite the crushing sensation inside his chest. Runaan smiled softly, lacing his fingers between Ethari’s and giving his hand a squeeze in return. “Don’t worry, you don’t have to say goodbye if you don’t want to.” “Isn’t that kind of the whole point of goodbye’s?” Ethari chuckled helplessly, his empty hand coming to rest on Runaan's as well. Runaan studied their hands for a moment, seeming to contemplate this. “Perhaps… But goodbye is only a word, we can make it mean and not mean whatever we wish it to.”
