There’s a line which I think works the same in both universes: In “Red, White and Royal Blue”, they say that “Henry fell first, but Alex fell harder”. I believe this to be the same with Shane and Ilya. In the episodes leading up to “The Cottage”, you see the vulnerability in Shane’s eyes when Ilya is talking about other women. I do think that Shane fell first (even though Ilya told him in Russian on the phone, but I do think that Shane was there first), and Ilya fell harder.
I’m still thinking about Shane Hollander’s backwards hat (and Hudson William’s peloton ad)

Background removal, texture overlay, minor colour changes, overlines drawn by hand in procreate - this was actually one of my first test pieces when I started trying to do drawn overlines with an apple pen, it's been sitting in my drafts for months, all I really did today was play with the lighting levels.
