âYavin IVâ
âJoin The Initiative, Discover Andromedaâ
I'm currently playing "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and I have to admire I find it so immersive. It really is the best "Star Trek" I've ever played. It's doing everything a Trek game was afraid to do, amazing exploration and a true sense of discovery as humans explore a new galaxy for the first time. So here's a little piece I whipped up in celebration.
James
âDistant Sunsâ
So weâre going 4th time strong! Kevin Smith approved once again! I whipped up this piece a few weeks back in celebration of his 4th episode of âSupergirlâ. Now it's official and I can say that Kevin Smith has 4 pieces of my artwork in his house. This is so incredible and humbling.Â
I hope you guys like this piece as much as Kevin Smith does! And also I really hope you like this new framed preview idea Iâm going for!
James
âRogue Oneâ
I know "Rogue One" has probably been a bit over done now by myself, but the movie is so inspiring! So many amazing visuals for somebody like me who loves to mine these movies for material. Even though this isn't in the final cut of the movie, it still a breathtaking shot. Its true war shot that brings back memories of the D Day landing at Normandy.
I hope you guys like this design, its actually one of my favourite to date!
âTwilight of the Apprenticeâ
"Star Wars: Rebels" yet again! I hope you guys dig this design based on my favourite episode of "Rebels" ever. A strong and powerful episode that wrapped up a long standing story in the "Star Wars" lore.
âTrials of the Darksaberâ
"Star Wars: Rebels" is my jam! It provides a creative person with amazing imagery and inspiration. This episode specifically was a great source. This is my little tribute to last weeks amazing episode! I hope you guys like this design. I personally really like this one and I'm pretty proud of it.
âSupergirl Livesâ
This is the officially Kevin Smith approved design based on his new dip into the CW "Arrowverse". This makes a "Kevin Smith Trilogy" of sorts that I'm immensely proud of. Kev is not alone in this design, he's accompanied by Supergirl herself and his daughter Harley Quinn Smith, who made her TV debut starring in this episode. I hope you guys like this designs much as the Fatman himself does apparently!
âHack All The Thingsâ
I'm a huge 'Watchdogs" fan! Yes even the first one. Yes it was a little bit boring, but it was a solid foundation. "Watchdogs 2" was definitely a step in the right direction and I loved it! I'm totally game for another round witness fantastic characters, or else maybe Ubisoft can fufill the dream game I pitch here of both sets of characters coming together for one story! Do it! Do it!
I hope you guys like this design.
âCrisisâ
A little tribute piece based on that beautifully recreated "Crisis on Infinite Earths" cover on "Supergirl"! I tried to to stick as close to the shot from the episode as possible, with a little artistic liberty of course! I hope you guys like this one as much as I do. I become more complacent with the finished product of most of my designs lately, but I'm really happy with this one.
âWhat We Leave Behindâ
That "Arrow" mid season finale was a thing of beauty. "Arrow" has been my favourite TV show since it started airing, and yes, its had its up and downs, but after seeing what Season 5 has had to offer so far, I have to say "Arrow" is back on top form.
Kevin Smith is a Fan!
Hi all,
We all have that one person we look up to an respect, our heroes so to speak! For many years Kev Smith was and still is my geek god!
Some of you might know that Kevin Smith recently directed his second episode of the "The Flash" called "Killerfrost". It was a standout episode for the this season! So as per tradition I'd usually whip up a little piece based on his episode and tweet it to him, hoping he might see it. This is my second design for him, the last one was based on his episode from last year "The Runaway Dinosaur". So as the universe dictated Kevin did see my second design, saved it and reported it to his Instagram page. Here's a screen grab of his post on his page.
This was a surreal experience, watching my phone blow up and see new follower after new follower show up and support my work. Its humbling.
I thought It'd be nice to share this! I have some mages from the first design being showcased by Kevin himself that I'll soon!
Hope you found this interesting,
James
âThe Dark Knight Returnsâ
"Dark Knight Returns" is my favourite comic of all time. I know its the cliche answer, its like saying "Empire" is your favourite "Star Wars" movie. But it is legit my fav book. So here's my little piece based on my favourite Batman story.
âWeâll Take The Next Chanceâ
A new little design based on the upcoming release of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". Im so excited for this flick! The trailers get me all kinda worked up! I hope you guys like this design!
âThe Princess of Themysciraâ
The third and final piece based on the Trinity from "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". This time Diana Prince, Wonder Woman herself. My parents grew up with Linda Carter as their Wonder Woman, I grew up without one, this new generation will grow up with Gal Gadot.
âThe Son of Kryptonâ
The second in my series based on the Trinity from "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". Henry Cavill is one of my favourite versions of Superman by far. I love this portrayal of a dark, conflicted and child of two worlds Kal-El.
âThe Bat of Gothamâ.
The first entry in a series of 3 pieces based on the Trinity from "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". Firstly The Batman! Ben Affleck really and truly showcases an absolute and brutal Batman. Just the kind of Batman I love. This is the way, in my opinion Batman show be portrayed. Maybe less of the murders though.Â
âWe Hold Rifles in Missing Handsâ.
Been replaying âMetal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Painâ, the last couple of weeks and the second time around I have much more enjoyed the story. I loved it the first time but I enjoyed it a lot more this time around.Â
I will not hear anybody speak bad about that ending, it was a bloody genius piece of writing on behalf of Kojima! it adds so much to the over all mythos and ties up some endings that we thought could never be explained away, but they were.
So heres a piece based around those fantastic words Kojima writes so elegantly.Â
